It's tragedy to people negotiating to their rights, it's OK to access sea but the question is how are you going to access sea, Ethiopia and Somalia can talk and negotiate thier issues, but not erasing the MOU this means the deal still exist, and we gave them another deal of purifying them to access water with in and out, we are really dead as spiritually and physically, but great leaders and good ministries will come and negotiate the world with in a proper way. My argument is not about Ethiopia will not access water or sea but how. We need to negotiate in a way that we are the land owners, not renters.

What does this mean ? The Lapset project in Kenya is now on its knees. Dying slowly. The port of Lamu will not be as functional as it was expected to be used by Ethiopian country. Ethiopia now may use Somali. This is a big blow to Kenya which was to a beneficiary of the Lapset project. All in all, peace is important. We in Somali-land respect the noble efforts of president Rajab Erdogan president of turkey's to help to revive what was once Somalai and support the so called Somali Government since his excellency visit to Somali refugee camps back in 2011. Unfortunately I am sorry to say, the troops that Turkiye trained are being used for tribal war by Hasan Mahamood Sheekh and today some of those very troops are taken hostage in Jubland, others have surrendered to Kenya, this comes in the absence of any effort by Hassan Sheekh Mahamood to challenge Alshabaab and at least secure Mogadishu. The MOU is between Ethiopia and Somali-land and Turkiye's sole effort to mediate Somalia and Ethopia looks to me like only cooking one side of the bread. The other obstacle that Turkey will face is the absence of any soft power intervention in Somali-land, the lack of any developmental projects in Somali-land, ie health water means that people of Somali-land view Turkye's intervention as hostile. Turkiye's effort must be accompanied by degree of pragmatism and recognition of the reality that Somaliland despite the absence of international recognition is functioning and stable country hence sidelining or ignoring their existence is neither good diplomacy nor productive approach.

"Acting like colonial Europe" Buddy the Ottoman Empire was literally at the table during the scramble of Africa during the Berlin conference wishing for their piece of the cake when dividing the continent.
