For me, it was an old man and his son pretending to be lost in the city hapo imenti house. So, he wanted to make a call on my phone. I refused to even take it out of my pocket coz I know every street and could guide them. They got frustrated and suddenly there was a gang of 5 people claiming that I had stolen the old man's phone. Luckily, the matatu crews and hawkers around there came to my aide. One of them just said people can't dress like me and carry laptops in their bags just to steal phones...... I've come across theives who are trained in making holes on clothes without the least noise or feel, in order to steal things like wallets, phones, etc. This part of the city, famously called as "Town" is full of crooks.
