I served 6 yrs out of 9 yesterday for bank robbery when I was in my late 20's and I had 3 meals a day a shower clean clothes etc..this is so inhumane it defies words..I regret what I did and now in my fifties do all I can to help the homeless drug addicts and ex prisoners.. I just struggle to understand how some people can treat others like that..there's a reason why people do what they do...I give every spare penny I have to the homeless and hungry.. not because I feel I should but because I care...

Imagine with America's justice system and we lock up innocent all the time and even execute, and when a innocent person is executed all they can do after their death is clear their name. That is bullshit. So I can imagine how many innocent are in these countries. And not even talking about witness testimony and how unreliable it is.

@@daniyalbutt1564 A coup d'état (/ˌkuːdeɪˈtɑː/ French for "blow of state"), often shortened to coup in English,[1] (also known as an overthrow) is a seizure and removal of a government and its powers. Typically, it is an illegal, unconstitutional seizure of power by a political faction, military, or a dictator. Many scholars consider a coup successful when the usurpers seize and hold power for at least seven days.

I was in mostly west Africa, but I’ve traveled all over the continent. Working with local villages in several countries, sometimes our make shift clinics were just that, the villagers were so friendly and welcoming, they would build us clinics to work from if they didn’t have one already! I miss the whole continent! I love every country I’ve been blessing to know. I’ve also been to many prisons where we, my team, we would treat so many patients in these horrific prisons. Diseases run rampant everywhere in the prisons. They are no place for any human to live 😢. We would bring bleach and medicine, Mostly antibiotics and pain medicine. If i write a list from just one prison, how many ppl with life threatening illnesses, that we treated , it would be hundred’s and hundreds of pages. Large population prisons would be thousands, uncountable. We vaccinated all the prisoners who wanted vaccines, because pl in the prisons, they do not get any medical treatments at all not unless we travel to the prisons to provide medical care. And we did this, we traveled from one prison to another in many countries. But so many pl were dying, from diseases that vaccines can prevent. Like measles ,mumps ,rubell different types of malaria, German measles, meningococcal meningitis, and this breaks my heart 💜 hurts my heart so badly.

I don’t know which prison you went to in SA, but that’s just not the reality of things; My cousin went to prison for 8 months in South Africa, and when he returned to Tanzania, he said he would rather spend 5 years in prison in Tanzania than 1 year in SA prisons. Even in America prisons have malnutritions, often prisoners get sick from food poisoning and simply lack of good and quality food. You must be mad to think SA is exceptional.

@@SimbaM2kufu Which prison in SA did your cousin go to? There's no malnutrition in SA prisons, they get catering, and free education. Maybe it was a holding facility for illegal aliens, the Humans Rights commission is there for cases like those, yet gangsterism and violence is ride, not hunger

Why African nations have poor prisons camps like these? We are not a perfect being to live on this earth. All of us are wrong doers. Government should consider and provide comfortable accommodations and meals to prisoners. They are not a animals, they are human beings. Treat them with respect and equality. Why government not consider their lives as very important? Very sad to see those prisoners. I think I should say thank you for the government of my country. In my country, prisoners feel they that are at home. My government provides education and trainings to prisoners so once they release from prison, they have to find a job any organizations. Also our government provides balance meal to prisoners and the prisoners' are free to participate in sports. About three prisoners share one room. African leaders need to concentrate on people. Your countries are very rich in minerals and there shouldn't be any excuse of having such poor prison camps. Some parts of the world especially black nations are in modern stage but yet entire African Nations in a way back 70's and 60's. In my country is black nation just like any African nations but we are dramatically changing in terms of services and developments. In Pacific region, the leading nations is Australia, followed by New Zealand and thirdly is Papua New Guinea which is black nation just like you. For those of you don't know my country, please search on google. From Papua New Guinea

There is no Nairobi prison. Perhaps a city council jail where they hold people temporarily and I'm sure it doesn't look like that. You used stock footage of one bad prison, I don't know from which country. Prisoners in Kenya are given facilities to continue practicing their trades in prison and are paid for it, though minimally. They have food and more space than shown here. The human rights abuses you should be reporting on are prison guards using corporal punishment on the prisoners. Prison sentences don't include strokes of the cane anymore, but it still happens.

It doesn't matter how hard the situation is in the prison, what matters is whom you believe in. God is looking from heaven to see whether there is any one who can call upon his name.

You need to keep your mind together. don't loose it. Once when I was parking my car in a spot at the mall near my home in Philippines, some impatient driver beeped his horn with a long beep. I jumped out of my car and was going to pull him out of his vehicle and knock him out. thank goodness he put it in reverse and got out of there. Philippines prisons are similar to what this video depicts. You can spend 3 years or more just waiting for a sentencing. There are people in prison in Phil for years waiting for their court hearing just from getting into a fight. Must stay calm and cool. There are no ladies in prison. At least not the kind I like. think twice before doing something against the law
