It's cool to see African cryptids getting some well deserved attention, my favorite African cryptids are the Kasi rex, a monstrous trex creature that hunts rhinos and elephants. and the enndi tiger, which is basically a Smilodon aka saber tooth tiger.

this has to be one of the best topic to cover like there are so many people and ethnic/religious groups so it is just logical that they will have there own interesting and fascinating folklore which should be learn and need to be studied like we just only cover eurpean or american folk lore which is not fair imo africa is worth knowing so i really like videos like this thanks

@@Cree8Ball Do you ever wonder if the seemingly increased viciousness of these figures reflected in these stories at least compared to what I have heard of elsewhere in the old world is connected to the environment? (Barring Japan, the land of the most frequent earthquakes and tsunamis) Do you think it might have something to do with the locals trying to give form (and thus a way to avoid or combat)to tropical diseases and unseen animal attacks? Like no matter what you had to deal with in prehistoric Sweden I'm pretty you'd and your society at large would never have to deal with would be things like baboons actually snatching babies, hippos and crocodiles bisecting men or flies that could maim you with one bite?
