What a wonderful and completely edifying adventure! Wow! Epic?? Indeed, it was! How beautiful the leopards were! ( dear LTE to the guide ... 'Can you spot the leopard in the tree?' 'No need, sir! They come into the world pre-spotted!'😊 ) However, I think the male lion is the most majestic of them all ... Overall, my favorite is the elephant!! Old souls, there! They had the most curiosity about your presence, and I absolutely loved it when they turned to you and waved hello with their trunks! There is a magnificent beauty about them, too! Thanks for taking us along, dear LTE!! Marlin Perkins is smiling away ... he's laughing with joy and saying, 'Well done, son! Well done!' And it is!!

Absolutely phenomenal. Clips show the benefit of the experienced guides: they knew where to go and more importantly, the leopard was so accustomed to the vehicle that she even let her cub play near it. Please - specifically, in which of the areas listed did you shoot the leopards? Thanks, thanks, thanks!
@luxurytravelexpert3 ай бұрын
The footage of the leopards was shot in Chobe National Park (leopards mating) and the Okavango Delta around Eagle Island (mother leopard and cub as well as lions vs leopard scene).

Wonder whether you see more of the animals, nature and less touristy in Botswana than Kruger National Park?
@luxurytravelexpert3 ай бұрын
Both Botswana and South Africa boast abundant wildlife in their safari reserves. But Botswana is less touristy and more eco-conscious, so it's mostly just you and the animals (max of two cars per sighting in most places)

So, we are in our golden years, late 60s. In your opinion, do you see this safari itinerary being accommodating with an older couple? Just a few aches and pains, nothing debilitating. Lucky enough to go to Kenya in my thirties, jumping from lodge to lodge before the unrest. So have a vague idea of the early rise and shine get up and go... Botswana looks a good fit...

Sorry, I should have mentioned great video! So after a little research, Botswana seems to be the low traveler density destination for a safari. Would you happen to have a recommendation on a contract to possibly get the ball rolling? It's totally understandable if you prefer not to. Thanks again..

amazing video, but I don't understand why your cars weren't protected in some way. What would it take for a leopard or a lion to jump into your car? It's unlikely the driver would have had time to react?

Safari cars aren't protected lol, that's just how it is, they never are

It's been that way for nearly 100 years, if it was a problem they'd be protected. Animals like this don't just attack humans for no reason, it basically never happens
