Yes, according to my culture but don't understand why that response from you. While my brother was comical and maybe unconventional, he did not push any boundaries that made the ladies uncomfortable. He was more of a protector in my opinion, and what I love most is the pride he took showing off his city while having fun with it and being real. If that's according to my culture, I'll accept the compliment.

Yeah! Rastafarianism is about fitness, primary food sources straight from the land, simplicity, craftmanship, good healthy, knowledge, the hair, Africa and love. ❤ As a Jamaican vegan and 7th day Adventist, we teach the health message very similar to rastafarianism, i ate a lot of rastafarian food and 7th day Adventist food. ❤

Oh tigress,, I have never laughed so hard watching a video you have an excellent tour guide Johnson really knows his stuff and very entertaining as well. Wish you had more daylight time especially at the church I was eight years old when the earthquake happened but had never been in that church. I am Jamaican residing in the US on my next trip home that church will be on my bucket list for sure. I like how you stay informed in your videos unlike some youtubers who just walk around talking about themselves and talking about things that are not factual ❤ because they are cheap. They want to use people to make content but refuse to reward their brother or sister. You are a perfect example of a good youtuber hope your channel grows buy leaps and bounds while in Jamaica. You and Whodemyer are the 👌 👍 welcome to Jamaica ❤

Good job African Tigress! You are learning Jamaican Patois! There's more to it as we draw from various languages. We say nyam to mean eat (from Nigeria and Ghana), unuh means you all, and ku means to look or see (from Akan word hu). For example we would say ku ya meaning look here or ku deh - look there, or you could say ku im - look at him.

Nice African Tigress, Good to see u sister doing good stuff to portray Jamaica as it is, Those are our brothers and sisters! Tell them to visit the Motherlands. Please ask him about George William Gordon,Heard about him in Reggae lyrics that after slavery pple were dying down there with smallpox and he had his doctor's friend from abroad and he asked them to come down to Jamaica to help the people. and because of the good will he did, the white colonialists caught him and hanged him.. I find the story as a hero stuff and he should be honoured..
@dawnb12
@dawnb12 Жыл бұрын
George William Gordon is one of Jamaica's national hero, and he was hanged because the people that governed Jamaica during that period accused him of taking part in the Morant Bay rebellion along with Paul Bogle, another one of Jamaica,s national hero, google the Morant Bay Rebellion in Jamaica, and you will learn more about both men and the part that they play in Jamaica's history.

My birthplace👍🏾 His reference to sons taking father's wives, was in regards to David, Solomon and Absalom. Sam Sharpe was a Baptist deacon at the Burchell Baptist Church. Most of the black people went to Baptist, while the Anglican Church served the plantocracy.

I don't think that is what he meant,maybe? I do know in Africa, some tribes do "inherit" the wife . For example, a man marries and dies. His brother will then marry that lady that was his sister in law originally. I think it also goes from Father to son and vice versa.
