Jamaican-american here 👋🏿You ate the ackee & saltfish and fried dumplings just fine! I grew up splitting the dumpling in half and filling it with ackee like a mini sandwich) - I miss traveling to MoBay soooo much! love to see other travelers enjoying the beautifully rich country

Since you love soursop so much next time you can try the 2 different types of soursop juice, there is a creamy one and the other is just pure soursop with stuff like sugar and lime.

Just for your info, festival is different from dumpling. Festival adds nutmeg, vanilla, and sugar to the ingredients.

I personally enjoyed pork pit. Alot. I would go back just for the jerk pork itself. Als soup and jerk is good. And sometimes you will come across a person just grilling jerk chicken. Be sure to try that.

my eye balls fell out at 17 usd for oxtail and rice. nah is this how expensive montego bay is. also the coconut lady prices are different in different videos. i have watched a load of travel videos and she pops up frequently.
