After seeing what my parents went through in land matters I vowed never to invest in kenyan land and moved to one of our neighboring countries. The sad or stupid thing in Kenya is that the most productive land is either unused or used to put up concrete jungles. No wonder our cry is only about ugali while our neighbors have a diversity of all kinds of food.

So true. Land use is a whole other mess. We should be building in dry areas and not uprooting coffee a climate specific crop to build homes. It's a shame. However we cannot run away. We should be proactive to get a solution

@@Mumbi.G If your enemy has more money and influence, which is often the case, the game is tilted to their favour. I am talking about the Kenyan complacency that allows the ministry of lands and the judiciary to just get away with all of this. Swipe it as "hii ni kenya", "corruption is just another Tuesday". You watch Africa uncensored enough, you come to question yourself: "How does a democracy with 80% literacy rate let all this f@!$ery continue with impunity" And the answer is Kenyans' false sense of security, that is one massive societal shock away from being blown apart. Until then complacency continues and kenyans remain stupid.

Great Focus! Pursue data on land cases with cases with appeals. Log and publish patterns on particular judges and length of cases data. The Kenyan economy is ultimately held hostage by judicial corruption.

Corruption starts from the top to some lowly civil servants. Look at the rich families that in own land in the country .... most are in the political arena... or their parents were senior government employees tasked with working for Kenyans but they became too greedy. If the senior most guys are in it who will help Kenyans in land related matters.

Judiciary is another one that needs vto digitise. And commit to deliver judgements. They take decades why? Its a nightmare! One only needs to visit court registries and see the mess. These court orders that allow people to come and execute illegalities are never reprimanded. Their names are right there. Its a shame.

People with integrity for public office is a joke in Kenya, too many top office bearers lack integrity completely . How will Kenya get along in the future with a large % of public officers being utter thugs /crooks ? Unless HE William Ruto takes real decisive action like was done in Singapore under Lee Kuan Yew we will simply drown and be a failed state .
