Young man, I think you've done an acceptional job on hair care. Being a seasonal stylist for 29 year's myself, I don't see too many people on here caring, or sharing the correct way on how to care for their hair or other's. So God bless your gift. I pray many blessings upon you. stay humble. Keep doing what your doing. God bless son.

Just leaving the water to sink in for a bit made all the difference, I'm surprised.. it such a simple thing. Thanks x

yes but i think it has a lot to do with your hair's porosity if you have low porosity hair it will take longer to absorb water and products so letting the water take time to absorb might be a great option but high porosity hair will absorb the water very quickly so this step may be unnecessary
@JohnBillow
@JohnBillow 3 жыл бұрын
@@meekaaa4206 yeah but what if the water evaporates before it gets to absorb into your hair

I do the same with oils. I let the water kinda sink in, then slightly detangle, then a small amount of oil I'll smooth into the section and let it sink in until it's soft, and then I'll use a wooden brush to smooth everything in before twisting it up.

I called myself doing an oil rinse last week on my hair. After watching this video, I learned what the mistake was. I spritzed too much water on, making my hair soaking wet, and added on the oil. Now I will lightly mist with water, add leave in, then the oil :) Thanks friend for making this video!

I thought i was low porosity hair until i watched this cause my hair was so dry. But now i know i just need to let the water sit in my hair for about 30 secs and then add my oil and cream. AFRICAN HAIR GOD FOR SURE!

same here! my son's 2 and a half, and he hasn't had a hair cut since last year, but we don't plan to ever cut his hair unless he asks for it. his hair is growing nicely and is long enough to plait now :D i wish more black women let their boys hair grow. i think it instills a healthy view of black hair in the boys for them to embrace it as much as the girls.

Thanks for this series. I had to refer back to the basics. Tried this and my hair is shiny, moistured and defined. I'm shocked that a little oil can transform your hair. The oil somehow encouraged my curls to separate and I had day 3 volume on day 1 without any frizz. Thank you
