Today we lost a great leader, Kenya's former 3rd President Mwai Kibaki. Please leave a comment on how you will remember him.
@AfrikanTraveller2 жыл бұрын
There are few people who have had such a profound impact on the future direction of Kenya than Mwai Kibaki. His knowledge and wisdom on running an economy undoubtedly enhanced the economic revival and development of our Nation. It is a tribute to His passionate determination that so many of us feel such a deep sense of loss at his passing.

I have been to Kitui once and I can say for sure the place is beautiful. I fell in love with the scenery especially the mountains and the hills, I think the place looks more like California in the US, but that in terms of nature. it's a very good setting for a city, Kenya should have one there maybe in the future.

Thanks for the tour. Kabati area (kitui west) is my home. Yes...road is well done but still under construction...the parallel road junctioning from Kabati, goes to Mwingi town. It's part of the South Sudan-Ethiopian road(Cairo-Cape highway also I think). Now they're tarmacking and repairing the normal used roads. We in kitui are benefitting very much.

Thanks Afrikaner Traveller for another fine update on Towns in Kenya.It's high time Kenya invested in Carbon capture technology to create rain in Kenya.The water shortage in Kenya will always slow development and continue to create problems like lack of food,clean water for consumption,water for industrial development ..etc.

This is news to me, what does it do exactly, 'Carbon Capture'
@kariuki82 жыл бұрын
@@AfrikanTraveller Carbon capture is new technology that involves direct carbon dioxide capture from air through some collectors the size of shipping container which consist of fans that directs the CO2 to chemical reactor that binds the CO2 and in the process liquefies it and then directed underground to the rocks.Just like trees and plants that capture carbon dioxide and store it inside their leaves ,stems and roots.A full unit of direct carbon captures that captures 1 million tone of CO2 equals 40 million trees.Depending on the unit you want one tone cost $500 - 600 to remove CO2 and the cost is going down due to using modern chemical reactor.It;s worth the cost for Nations like Kenya that face severe water shortages due to global warming

I think we ought to learn to pay credit where it's due.. what Uhuru's government has accomplished the past 10 years no other country in Africa can.. not any time soon.. ata uko kwenu if you're Somalian by descent, the government in Mogadishu or the monarchies in Arabia can ever replicate what you blatantly attempt to dismiss off..
