As usual another breath taking video.u and wodemaya inspired me so much to start a utube channel. My channel is still in its infancy state.i don't know anything about utube.but u inspired me because india is also very negatively stereotyped by the media like Africa. I have been asked weird questions about india when traveling abroad. U and wodemaya showed me the real Africa

The videography here is very good. Very good. I think the ministry of tourism in Kenya needs to start paying these youtubers (they're doing more for tourism than any government official out there is doing) If they go back to Lamu, I think it would be interesting to hear the stories of the people in Mpeketoni that survived the alshabab attack (Mpeketoni itself has an interesting history -- Kenyatta resettled lots of Kikuyu's there in the 60's and 70's) and that created some tense situations with the locals and I believe it was one of the reasons why it was picked by alshabab for their attack.

After watching three of your videos. All I can say is You are the most underrated Kenyan KZbinr. Your content is TOPS!!! The drone shots, the tone of the music, your narrations are so good. Keep up the good work.

When you do my kind of content, it's timeless. If the current Generation will not appreciate the future will. Am in no hurry ☺️
You are 💯% correct! African Traveler is the best videographer; his contents and his skill with the camera and the drone is very advanced; its like a documentary film. If I didn’t know that he’s a KZbinr, I would think he’s an established video journalist. I’ve just finished binge watching his videos. Y’all please support this brother’s work, he’s very much underrated even though he’s a far much better with his camera shots and videos than most of the other African Influencer.

'Jambojet disrupts Lamu route with low prices' - The Star reports "Jambojet has announced plans to begin operations from Nairobi to Lamu via Mombasa four times weekly, starting September 15 bringing competition to the route which continues to record increased traffic. The Island has become a beehive of activities since operations at the new port started, with jobs for port officials, KRA, banks, clearing and forwarding firms, shipping companies, and a number of other state agencies setting base in Lamu. A one-way Nairobi-Lamu ticket on Jambojet will go for as low as Sh7,100 and a Return ticket 14,200. Skyward Express is currently flying at Sh7,950 O/W and Safarilink that has been operating on the Nairobi-Lamu route since 2004 will charge Sh19,900, on a return ticket on the route on September 15. Passengers flying from Mombasa to Lamu, the Jambojet spokesman said will pay Sh4,600 on a one-way ticket.
