Thank you for making this video! I'm a born and raised Virgin Islander with roots there going back *300 years* . I've been contending with the reality of what really happened in the Virgin Islands whilst researching and documenting my family's story. There has been an erasure of our history and we have to fight to reconcile our identities. Please take a look at a video I recently made about the colonisation of the Virgin Islands. The history of the islands is absolutely fascinating as there are Indigenous peoples, Spanish, French, Dutch, English and Danish people before the United States got involved. In addition to enslaved Africans, there were also Quakers, Pirates and Sephardic Jews which makes for a rather curious bunch!

This is ridiculous and the exploitation of European nativity. Every people in the world have taken slaves and been slaves, including and especially blacks, even today. I blame this culture on the self-flagellating nature of Christianity, which Leftists are very clever in employing.

The King of Ghana approved it with a contract about the presence of Danes. He liked the snaps. The fundamental thoughts must have been an early version of ebay and solving some genocide. The Danish sailors also thought "I hate this work and my masters but I can't live on a few oranges."

I had no idea that the U.S. Virgin Islands were once Danish colonial territory! It's true that Denmark's history in this regard is widely forgotten. I so wish that countries would truly acknowledge the evils of their past; if they did, an apology would be issued immediately and permanently.

As a person born in st. croix, united states virgin islands and living in the mainland, I did not know about the person living in iceland, but recently knew about the offsprings traveling to denmark in 1905. With that being said, a heck no to reparations because the people who are alive did not live through what our ancestors live through and black lives matter doesn't represent blacks. Our descendants fought so we would have the opportunities to succeed in life. Thank you for sharing though and enjoy your day. And this post is from an american who is black.
