Congratulations, you have done a nice job with your house. You are living the dream! My observations, as an architect: I would have built an anti-ballistic perimeter wall, since you are building a wall. Pedestal sinks are not as functional as a sink with a counter A pantry is a good feature for a kitchen. No basement? Always plan your foundation so a second story can be added later.

I agree possibly the best places in America to own a home is the deep south but that is being flooded with more people who inflate the market. Africa is the new frontier and a land of opportunity. There are African Americans who relocated and never looked back and some of them were able to afford maid service.

@themuddygee : Which country in Africa are you planning on moving to? The continent of Africa is huge with roughly 54 countries with diverse economies, cultures, languages, religion and political structures. All countries in Africa are not the same. Some countries in the Northern parts of Africa are highly developed but strictly Islamic in their laws. It is good that you do your research on various countries and find the country that is favorable for your relocation to Africa. I have nothing against Islamic countries of Northern Africa. It is good to know the laws and customs of any countries before deciding to move there. Wishing you good luck as you find your way in moving to Africa.
