Namibia is expensive to live in simply because the banks are owed by Europeans mainly for profit on Africans. To change this, we need to create our own banks and aquire big tracks of land and turn them into serviced lands and become our own developers. Namibia is as big as California but has only 2.5 million people and Europeans wanna keep it in this underpopulated for their selfish interests. We need to populate it in order to make their presence very insignificant..
@destinynetope73965 жыл бұрын
Agboka D5K and also after economic crisis the namibian dollars has dropped drastically...back then things were really cheap because 1US$ was equivalent to N$ 5...now it’s at N$13 so it is really expensive. I hope we really regain our economy back.

congulats. I love your sensitization of African Americans and other African diaspora. My worry is that they are not coming to Africa in enough large numbers. You need you to come like a flood. We are not saying give up America , am against that myself because it's like surrendering to the white man in a country that you built in blood and sweat. What we are saying is that we need you to have a piece of Africa as much as you can. Africa is so untapped, we just discovering a belt of gold here in Zambia from Mumbwa in central province to mwinilunga in north western province. in the past 1 month Oil has been found oozing out on the ground in gwembe southern province.What am I saying? am trying to say that please let's work together and enter an era where Africa 's resources under the ground, in the sea, on land and in the air are exploited by Africans on land and in the diaspora to end our poor existence accross the globe. I love the sensitization work you are doing .Subscribe to Eat Love migrate channel and link up with sister ES.

Congrats again! I can see why land would be more expensive in Namibia.. In my country Kenya, most new land developments are not serviced fully-only water and electricity . I can see that there is tarmac road and even street lights in your neighborhood. So I guess if you discount these factors then land in Kenya is cheaper.

To build a house in Namibia is too expensive compare to build a house in Nigeria,with $80,000 you can build mansion house with huge land.
@MissTannyM5 жыл бұрын
Abbey Oluwa the standard of living in Southern Africa is a higher than west Africa so building a house tends to be expensive when compared to Nigeria.
@tkntinda5 жыл бұрын
Abbey Oluwa yes this is true... but the standard materials are not the same at all. The materials in Namibia are very strong compare to the bricks and building materials used in Nigeria. The houses in Nigeria can not be bought with a bank in Namibia.
@azul72945 жыл бұрын
i would believe that..i swear my country is unnecesarily expensive😒
@Time40585 жыл бұрын
Yes land is very expensive in Namibia, and we import most of our building materials, thats the problem
@Biobele5 жыл бұрын
@@tkntinda you seem proud that things are expensive in your country I hope you know cost does not mean quality especially because in your case you Namibians are merely paying cost of transportation spent in shipping those materials and not the quality. Futhermore you have never been to Nigeria that makes you very incompetent to speak about buildings IN Nigeria. NOW, you saying Nigerian building materials are poor shows the white supremacist Brian washing you have been fed throughout your life, tell me which cement company in your country can rival Nigeria's Dangote cement or BUA cement? everything used in building is manufactured locally that is why it is cheaper in Nigeria as well as the fact that there is little bureaucracy and red tapes around building in Nigeria. if I want to sell my land here it's totally up to me I can sell it for 3 billion or 1 dollar this has made land really cheap in Nigeria compared to Namibia, because they'll always be someone willing to sell his land cheaper. If no one just wait something urgent sickness, travel, marriage,education,death/burial something unexpected will make a land owner reduce his price. In Namibia on the other hand building materials are imported from places as far away as Asia and Europe instead of buying from other African countries the same way Benin refuses to buy cement from its neighbours Nigeria(one of the biggest producers of cement globally) but imports from china instead, tell me then how won't it be more expensive to build when transportation of these materials alone cost a fortune? also fewer people own land in Namibia than in Nigeria this means there's more sellers in Nigeria than sellers in Namibia meaning sellers can place higher prices and not worry about competition if you can't afford it someone else will BUT in Nigeria it is the opposite if you don't want to sell to me someone else will sell to me good example of this is parts of Abuja in Nigeria where houses cost around 80,000usd and many cost even more I saw one of 197,000usd and laughed the agent was my colleague in Law school I laughed and told her plainly with that money is own my dream houses and a big farm and house in another country, all those houses are empty please visit and see for yourself nobody will pay that much for house in Nigeria when there are available alternatives in other parts of the country equally as good as those ones eventually the prices fall. Don't be jubilant my friend tell your government and people to build factories and manufacture that's how you industrialise stop giving Europe your money

Congratulations to you and your family on building your home! Serviced plots of land in planned developments generally cost more than (multiples of) unserviced plots of land. For a given general area, any significantly 'cheaper' lands most likely do NOT come with roads, drainage, water mains and connections, electricity lines, planned layout and other controls and features of typical planned communities like yours. Raw land in the 'bush' could be dirt cheap almost anywhere, but likely does not have the services and utilities in planned communities. The cost of land-plus-building varies based on features, finishing, and factors of production (local versus imported building materials for instance). Some countries import significant proportions of building materials and finishes, and with those, higher prices. All that said, the price of land and building are greatly influenced by 'Location! Location!! Location!!!' Congratulations once again! Best wishes to you and your family!!

Thanks for the info! Yeah, I was researching Namibia before & they are one of the few places where it’s easy to buy property as a foreigner (other countries like Nigeria require citizenship to own land while foreigners are allowed to lease property). As far as solar panels go, I know China manufactures some inexpensive ones, although they are (to my knowledge) not as good as the ones built in America. I guess my only question is what is the food like in Namibia‽ Is it spicy‽ (yes, I love spicy food & miss Nigeria because it was automatically spicy)
