I have to watch this every once in a while just to remind myself how much I suck on guitar and how beautiful of an instrument it can be when someone really knows how to play!

Bireli will never cease to amaze me

I've watched this so many times I can sing it from first note till last with all the solos. And you know what? Stochelo's solo is the easiest to remember. Very catchy.
@hamzak21813 жыл бұрын
Stochelo has the most melodic phrasing I believe. The other Gypsy guitarists are very technically skilled but they have a tendency to showboat too much which takes away the musical aspects from it.

String couldn't handle Angelo's skills... it served him well. RIP

Debarre's technique and phrasing is from another universe....

Angelo Debarre is amazing, notice his string break at about the 4:00 minutes mark, he just keeps playing like nothing is wrong, but you see it on his face as it happens... A true performer in every sense.

Wow! Debarre's solo is awesome. Love the great mix of Django and bop lines.

Ils sont tous incroyables, Bireli est vraiment un extra-terrestre, mais à chaque fois que j'écoute Angelo, je trouve que c'est le plus musical...ça chante!

I just love how even though Debarre breaks a string, he still plays on like nothing ever happened. That's so awesome.

I have never heard of any of these players before but have been gobsmacked !! Are these guys born with a guitar in their hands?? How can anyone say clapton hendrix vai or any other 'greats' are better than the gipsies. This is the best music ever in the world...

Didn't even bat an eyelid when that e string broke. What a legend.

The first 1:45 could be the best genuine guitar magic ever videotaped. The chemistry between Debarre and Lagrene is ethereal: clean melody and chewy, relevant rhythm. I keep playing it over and over. Bravo. What sweeter music...

Love this version of this song... I never really liked this song until I heard Angelo Debarre play it... Sheer genius

I was there sitting on the famous stone seat!!! greta moment. angelo was very stressed...But he still for me the guitarist with the most dangerous way to play in trying différent ways.

I first watched this video about the time it was introduced to KZbin. I was amazed at the talent and musicality displayed by all the musicians, and how much of an emotional impact it had on me, even on my crummy little computer speakers. I watch it from time to time, and it gets better with each listen!

That flat out smoked. I have Bireli's early acoustic albums and this was a nice reminder of his chops on the non-electric six string.

Not my type of music, BUT THAT GUITAR PLAYING IS SO GROOVY!!! It's so good! Bravo!!! Peace & Love

i will tell you something ...Angelo debarre is the greatest in there ...this guy seems very intelligent, and he is the cleanest of all ..even if bireli and rosenberg are very good also ...but listen carefully to angelo ..he is a master ... and he is more traditionel ..
@alfierussell82104 жыл бұрын
song lends itself to gypsy so well, one of my all time favourites. The recording on rosenburgs seresta is insane
