☕️ the ad before the video was that recent Airbnb ad where those two girls are talking about staying with an artist in Edinburgh, which I found really fitting - just thought I’d put that out there 😆 regarding travel buddies, like you mentioned, I don’t know how comfortable you’d be with this, but I definitely recommend a solo trip at some point if you feel up to it. I went to Hamburg by myself once which was weird but it wasn’t as scary as I though, cause I could explore at my own pace and take in the sights. Totally get if it’s way outside your comfort zone but it’s definitely worth a try at some point 😊 the trips you and Becca were hosting were a bit outside my price range but I’d definitely be interested in joining in the future if you plan any more 😁

ahaha what a coincidence! and I have considered solo travel and have done so within the UK, but at this time I wouldn't be comfortable travelling anywhere I don't know the language of at least. I also am overly wary of safety in unfamiliar places so would prefer others with me if possible!

Good luck on your flight! I’m in Sydney Australia so to get from here to London is over 24 hours by the time you factor flights and stop over etc. so 4 hours is short to me 😂

My autumn plans are minimal. My birthday is in October, so I’m going on a trip to Disney World in Florida. Otherwise, I don’t have anything set in stone, which leaves room for flexibility. I also have three jobs, which can make it hard to do much beyond working and introverting 😂

I do want to check out Air Awakens! As for Crescent City, I had the same reservations before it came out but I think it feels different - heavier on the fantasy than it is the urban. Definitely has a different vibe to her other books but its very clearly still a SJM fantasy book. It's one of my favourites 🤎

Unfortunately because of Brexit it is extremely complicated, I'm not allowed to work in retail stores so I was thinking maybe a job more like yours. I got a pile of books (duh) changing into birds (bird set free by Sia lit saved me from suicide and made me want to openly talk about my mental illness) changing into an albatross (poem by Baudelaire). The second one is a constellation, and a massive one (ouch!) because I believe that when I'll die, I'll become a star to help those in need during the darkest nights 🌟
