This Boss is Star Wars Jedi Survivor was also in the first game and it took me LONG to beat... I don't know if I got worse or this boss got stronger but I am in the same amount of pain

I must say, its always hysterical that AfroSenju goes into any situation overconfident and then quickly panics as things becomes difficult. Then they were followed by intense rage and leading to the infamous "uninstall game", only for him to reinstall and return to the game later on. A vicious cycle if you will.

Just a bit of advice, I used blaster stance the entire game and it is crazy strong, but you should rely more on charged shots than normal ones. Charged shots can stagger and then while they're staggered you hold the attack button to close the distance super fast, that's why the first swing is a poke. Also, each shot does damage to enemies stagger bar so you can break someone's guard super fast with the gun

That’s my main complaint, is that the enemy design isn’t on the level of FromSoftware games like grandmaster has just made the enemies do insane damage and have insane health. By the end of the game I was kinda frustrated with the combat, bosses were still fun tho.

Tips: Double Jump the Leaping attack If you do a charge shot in blaster stance it can stun him even out of unblockables, but only the standard charge shot one. You cannot stagger him by parrying his entire bar, it regenerates faster than you can attack. -Good luck Also, there is a force echo challenge where you fight two.

I think the big reason as to why Afro's not really liking the gun stance is because he's not using the gun with his combos. He kind of has them separate from each other which is not really the point.

Exactly. Coupled with the right perks, the damage is insane on the blaster stance. Alternating blade with blaster attacks does so much posture damage, I've stun locked enemies who have guard with it.

Yo Afro! one of the things the game doesn't tell you about blaster stance is that the follow up shots go into the combos, they can't be parried, are usually free damage, and definitely an amazing strategy when playing aggressive against block meters (for example, pressing attack: shoot: attack: shoot will do more towards a meter and will not get you parried by the more advanced enemies)

Hey Afro just letting you know that if you want the gun blade to feel better use a skill called point blank in the blaster tree it makes it to where if you time the button press just before someone hits you you'll unload around right into their face right is there about to hit you and do double damage of what the normal blaster can do and it pierces through their defense meter so they can't block it they can easily do half the health bar of a really spongy enemy not bosses by the way

3 things- 1. You can double jump over the delayed lunge attack 2. Don't become over relying on the jump to dodge, the quick bite that's unblockable will punish you hard if you jump then. 3. There's a shortcut door at the end of the path before you see the platform with a bunch of droids so you can just go to the left when ziplining up there rather than running all the way around

Pro tip: mix blaster shots in between your saber attacks, and also unlock the dash strike (hold square) asap. Great skill for closing the distance.

Someone else already mentioned the blaster stance is good to stagger enemies, but the thing I used it most for was its parry; just straight-up Bloodborne style. The blaster parry not only parries attacks, but does AOE damage and can even let you i-frame/block your way through some unblockable/red attacks. Mind you, I was playing on PC, so those particular blocks could have been due to framerate and lag issues

Get aggressive with the toad. You being up close and dodging is the right play. Also duel wielding and throwing the saber does so much damage because it hits the toad twice if you throw it up close. Hella helped me.

The difference is the fact that we no longer have force slow. Cal's been nerfed so his slow is now an ultimate rather than an ability. I remember in the last game force slow allowed us to get some free hits in but in this game you have to wait ages for the ultimate meter to fill up.

Afro, you can double jump over every frog move except the one where he comes up on two legs to bite. Also, the charged gun shot makes this fight a breeze. Mid double jump you can charge a shot (hold triangle), release it (it stuns the frog), and then get a free hit in while it’s stunned. Makes the fight easier. Also, as the gun doesn’t require force to use, be sure to throw your lightsaber with the single blade stance when you’re safe. Good luck and just know, there is a harder boss fights that’s twice as difficult as this one :) love the content!

You can force pull both of the 2 raiders up top, lead them over to the trap, double jump when it activates, and the 2 of them will fight “spawn of oggdo” for you as you’re just sitting up top watching them

the strat for me was to clear the blaster mag and then get hits before getting the light to refill heath and mag to do it again, the switch to double blade and parry/slow hit, definitely had to come back to it though, he’s the true final boss after the story

I dragged the two raiders from the cliff above into the pit first and let them drain some of Oggdo's health while I shot him from above, when the raiders were dead and my ammo depleted his health was around halved and I finished him off.

How I defeated this ridiculously OP frog was, pull both hammer wielding raiders from the ledge above, looking over the battle droids and pit door, and lure those two plus any of the remaining Battle droids I could salvage into the pit, wait a few minutes for the raiders to do damage until they died and then went in to finish the kill while dodging relentlessly.

i just beat this bastard on grand master difficulty. It took maybe 15 tries. Charge shot the froggy and weave in saber strikes. froggy will be stun locked due to charged shots. its really hard to beat it in close combat. best bet is range

What I did was I force pulled the two guards at the top down by double jumping. Get them over the opening they’ll fall and then they’ll attack the Oggdo.
