Someone else has probably already said it, but let me say it just in case. The name Son Goku is the Japanese name for Sun Wukong. The monkey aspect of the Saiyan's original form, the pole that I can't remember the name of that changes length, the nimbus all come from Sun Wukong. When it said "The saviour from heaven" that's also apart of the translation of Sun Wukong which I don't speak Chinese, but if you look up the translation it says The Great Sage Equal to Heaven. That is the title he receives when heaven decides it does not want to wage war with Wukong and instead meet his demands of being called equal to heaven. In summary, apart from when DB veered off of him using the pole, the nimbus and losing what made him more of a monkey and obtaining loads of transformations, Goku is Wukong. Though one could argue his many transformations represent Sun Wukong's 72 transformations. Anyways, that was an epic animation. Hope they develop more in the future.

I love the Son Goku/Demi God concept. They incorporated that with Goku and the semi ultra ego with Vegeta, when he got hurt and immediately got stronger. I wanna see Broly come back. It's so cool how in the animation they sort of do two brolys. The original one who hated kakorot, and then the one who hated Vegeta. Or at least that's just how I interpreted it.

This is by far the best fan film ever made of a popular classic; I like how the animation was done and the fight sounds and super powered transformations were awesome beyond compare, I especially like how vegeta finally showed respect to goku what I've been longing for the most for it's been taking so damn long for him to do! Lol💯😁😉👍

Fun Fact: being struck out of their transformations was briefly done in some sagas but usually that would always be a knockout hit, such as Vegeta's arm being broken by 18.

They really said, ayo let's have Vegeta get his moment in our own way, have chichi fight this glowing green devil, give Goku his own nine tails/dragon force power, and have Vegeta do a Kamehameha and refused to elaborate further. Ight, I'm a bit invested if they can make a actual coherent series out of it.
