Understanding market structure alone will build your confidence tremendously. I use a set of a few indicators in my strategy, but understanding structure (support/resistance & trend lines) will allow you to trade by eye - that mental memory muscle DTA was talking about. Often I can look at a chart and know where to take trades without adding anything to my charts because of years of understanding market structure. Great thing is, this is transferable across whatever symbol you trade. Best of skills gentlemen and ladies!

I’ve back-tested over 200 trades, which has helped me get familiar with how the market looks, behaves, and what to expect while trading. This single habit has significantly boosted my confidence and patience. Now, I don’t feel the urge to take random trades; instead, I wait for my setups to align perfectly. Another key factor that has helped me is sticking to a single, well-back-tested strategy. My goal is to deeply understand and master this strategy before moving on to back-test and refine another one. Risk management has also been a game-changer for me. Crypto is risky as many would say but I think the actual risk in Crypto is not investing, buying the capitulation isn't a tough call, but it is a very tough call to figure out what to do aside holding. I learned a very valuable lesson today that no one actually talks about. The place order VS buying. I placed an order for RichTech robotics at $2.475 thinking I was actually buying when in reality. I only placed the order. I watched the stock go all the way up to now $3.360 Not realizing I didn’t actually buy the stock. That could have potentially made me a ton of money. Granted I’m a new trader so that was a valuable lesson that I learned, but could you please talk about that because I had to Google the difference between place order and actually buying the stock. 😢
