Thirty Years ago during my first ever trip to Thailand I had a special experience subsequent to a motorbike accident in this small beach town. I return every year as I feel compelled to but this year, I learn there are still places I have not been and take an epic journey to a spectacular view point.

Gambling is a disease, even the lottery. Somebody who I invested a lot of time and money in, just spent more and more on the lottery. 6,000 baht in one hit that's when I knew to walk away. Food as always looks delicious. Very well presented and gorgeous surroundings. Wonderful viewpoint

Lucas a friend who was also a very eminent professor and writer always maintained that he felt the presence of an angel who protected him and looked after him he lived an interesting enjoyable longlife enjoying the company and many countries to the full with many visits to Asia and middle east whilst his interactions with it's many characters including royalty he always felt his angel formed an important part of his long life and guiding and protecting him . I like to think that you have a similar guardian taking care of your well-being and your visit to pay thanks shows your interaction and appreciation to your protector.

Hello Loucus. Can you tell me what kind of physical injuries you had on that motorbike accident 30 years ago. I just had a terrible accident on my motorbike 8-9 weeks ago here in Pattaya. Doctors said most people would have died. (bragging here, I was in GREAT shape, the only thing that saved me). 8 fractured ribs#3 thru#10 fractured scapula and pictured lung. 10 days in Pattaya Bangkok hospital. 250k OUCH!!!!!!!

I was on crutches 2 weeks and banged up hands, ankles, knees etc. But despite being knocked unconscious without a helmet, I had absolutely no head trama at all, not even a nick.

Lucas ,i will never forget the day i'm sat in an outdoor restaurant after ordering my meal on some Soi a few years ago and watching the staff rush out when this lottery women pulls up on a bike(not the average seller we see often ) .If i'm honest i had a giggle to myself at first watching them going through so many different rituals just picking a bloody ticket 🤦‍♂whilst listening intensely to the seller (Still them looking back at me saying with a smile ''Only 5 min sir until you eat '' ,I wasn't worried because it made me laugh (internally )and smile watching at the same time .Btw the food was lovely .I love Thailand and it's people 😊I personally think the rain falling down on Vee was a sign of a not to distant win on the Lottery 55

If you ever get stuck on finding things to talk about, you should consider a memory lane series. We are around the same age and I went to Thailand for the first time in the mid-90s. Thailand has changed a lot. And being a young man in Thailand in his 20s is a lot more different experience than being a man in his 50s. I have also had miraculous experiences. They are hard to forget. They are the reason I am still alive.
