The industry doesnt make it any easier on us by making the healthier food more expensive. At 62, I can relate to what you said. Ive thought about carnivore, but havent taken the plunge just yet. I have a torn rotator cuff and thats really limited my weight training. And don't get me started on sugar, my nemesis.

@@allenreid62 I completely agree with you. The big food industry certainly doesn’t make things easier (and I’m trying not to sound like a conspiracy theorist here). Their marketing, along with the corruption and deception from agencies like the FDA, only reinforces our biases. We often don’t realize just how addicted to sugar we are. Looking back, I remember all the excuses I made before starting the carnivore diet, and it really does remind me of someone struggling with addiction. Sugar has always been my vice, but at least now I recognize it. A torn rotator cuff must be tough! Personally, when I lift, I don’t go heavy either. I’ve found that with the carnivore diet, I don’t need to. I’ve been able to build muscle, lose fat, and gain strength without lifting heavy. Honestly, it has transformed my life. I’ve also discovered that being carnivore can be more affordable. I usually buy a whole or half cow from local ranchers, and when I can’t buy in bulk, I stock up on steak during sales. It requires some planning, but it saves me hundreds of dollars each month, and I can still eat optimally. I really appreciate you, and I hope you have an amazing day!

@@ChadListentome That's probably the smart way to buy your beef. My wife is vegetarian, so that's an issue!
