the difference between the 2023's and the 2020 suspension is night and day. my 2023 is so soft in comparison to my friends 2021. His car feels like a different car, Tesla really fixed this issue.

I do not know man. We have Audi A4 limousine 2022, base suspension and 19” wheels and I got Berlin made TMY on 19” as well and I feel Tesla is stiff as hell. Cannot imagine what the suspension was like before this “improvement” everybody is talking about.

@@TechBroNina ah sorry, did not catch that one! I was trying to compare ride quality from total layman point of view. Even my wife pointed out that stiffness without me even asking her. Yes I would agree that comparing crossover vs limousine is not the proper comparison. But I still like TMY very much. That amount of space (family of 4), infotainment, silence.

In a low charge situation like that, I like to attach the tow bolt to the front, set it to Car Wash mode, and hook up to a Fed Ex truck while he’s in Mc Donald’s. Awkward if he chooses the drive-through, but you can’t beat the range.

Always love your videos! Your ioniq 5 vs model y video helped me decide on the ioniq 5! Id love to see your take on the recurrent study that found most model y’s get 50-60% of advertised range (~60% at 70•, ~55% at 30•), especially with you needing to cut ac etc to hit chargers? Have you seen the advertised range over the time you’ve owned the model y or have you found your results similar to recurrent? Also what are your thoughts on Tesla sandbagging range over 50% for marketing reasons as also reported this week?

I just did a 2000 mile road trip in my MY. No issues with range. Sure, I didn't get 300 miles at 75 mph. But I got 200 miles going from 90% to 10% charge at 75 mph on flat terrain. I did get stuck charging at 50kw once which was not fun.

@@munionr So what range are people actually getting, that's the rub!
@munionr Жыл бұрын
@@erikruggels9177 I get the range predicted by the trip planner. On average over a 2100 mile trip I averaged 300Wh/mile in a MYP. But that is traveling at 70+ MPH. I did have one section of road where I averaged 160 Wh/mile for 87 miles. That would be the same as 500 mile range! Because of charge curves you will end up charging every 2.5 to 3 hours. Usually from 10-70%. So 170ish miles between superchargers. I guess range doesn't really matter. Though I do wonder if I can do a 150 mile round trip to Big Bear in the winter. I hope so, since I will start at 100% with a warm battery.

Thanks for the video. In terms of tyre testing, keen to see if the Handkook Ion EVO AS tyre is quieter on road than the standard Michelin tyres fitted to Teslas. Road noise is my primary criteria for any tyre selection, in particular on course chip roads.
