What a gorgeous little girl and good to see she still has her basic 'love for life' character. Will implement the basic sit, stay, short recall x 6 etc every walk now before allowing Echo to go further from me. Have been throwing those in at random up till now. Thanks, Charlie

Is there a reason you mainly seem to train labs and spaniels? I’m interested in your thoughts on training Goldens. Are they more difficult to train or is it something else?

I've had labs and Goldens. It's my experience Goldens are a little goofier

In the absence of an answer from our hosts, I'd guess it has more to do with keeping large numbers of dogs in kennels. Goldens tend to need to be part of the family which would require a large family and a massive house to run an operation like theirs. Individual Goldens are pretty much as easy to train as labs.

I love goldies but they just aren’t as good as labs interns of work ability. They take so long to mature. Also their coats take a lot more work!! I did have a plan to breed them and this is the main thing that prevented it ! Sweet dogs
