You could use a burst bomb to pop them faster and more reliabily, but it doesn't really matter cause it doesnt make the fall to the rail any faster

tip for rails ; stay in squid form as much as possible as I noticed from 2 that staying in squid form on a rail makes u go ever so slightly faster and for things such as jumping off rails just stay squiddied don’t jump unless needed as the landing time can take a second or sme extra time so just like say down but idk that’s all I know lmk if this is wrong bc I don’t speedrun I learn this from being scardy cat

it has to be a pretty tall wall or an exploit for surge to be faster, and canceling momentum at the top with the right timing is a lot easier if you’re not doing a squid surge
