All the remodeling that I saw was he put a beautiful new roof on the house. He swept out all the rooms and made it look clean. I saw a bed that he put together for sleeping . But after that it was all outside. Digging dirt. Not that what he was doing wasn't OK, it was. BUT he is suppose to be renovating the house.

This is the 2nd vid I viewed today where the owner starts cleaning the yard first instead of making a room liveable for sleeping and cooking in!!! So it's suspect if they are actually doing the reno for actual living or just to make money from posting these vids since there is no videos of the finished reno nor of them living in it.

I don't believe this was an abandoned house,I believe he bought it for a reason, the problem in the video making is, it jumps about all over the place on the work being done to confuse us, I can't help but feel, viewing between the lines or shots hear, this is an old resteraunt buisness that he is refurbishing for himself when finished, I don't believe there was ever a wife who he has supposed to have had an argument with and they seperated, and he took over this supposedly abandoned property, probably could be a reason that all of these types of videos you never see the end result, anyone think I may be right in this case.

After watching several Chinese renovation videos, I know we'll never see the finished interior. Their gardens are beautiful with lots of creativity but what I can see of the interior rooms is not inspiring. While the exteriors are models of meticulous finishing, the interior spaces are often messy. I'd like to know: is the reason that these residents spend more time outside (pragmatic reason), or are they renovating what every visitor sees first, the garden, the famous fish pool, to impress? Whatever the reason, these videos are frustrating, leaving an impression of unfinished business.

Why, in all these repairing an abandoned home videos, do they start outside. You dont live outside. That is the last thing you focus on. First is the roof and walls that keep you dry.

Show a complete finished renovation of room to room. Take a before shot and after/finished shot. Come on. You show all the tedious clean-up, building, refinishing and never a complete overall product. I love to watch these renovations but absolutely hate the complete finished reno isn't shown.
