While i can understand Gale struggles when she found the fake evidences pointing to Michael thus afraid of digging further, Michael also perfectly described that without the accident, she will still be attracted to guys like Peter while he will always be just someone who she need and indulge her. Not only did she let down Michael but the biggest person she let down was her own mother by 1st not digging into the accident more clearly and 2nd by not doing as Michael said and make sure to honour the legacy she left behind.

Not only that but Gale is also one of those people who would instantly believe rumors and/or fake evidence without looking into it first; in a way, she just wrecked her own life without even knowing it. (PS: Gale texted Michael near the end saying that she'll repay him everything she owed him, but the question is: what good will that do?? It's not like everything will go back to normal if she did that.)

What a gullible person. She saw a picture and few more so-called evidence and simply believed everything and didn't even bother to get the police involved? It only took the police few weeks to uncover Peter's plan. How did Peter know about Gale's and her mother whereabout? Did Gale tell him? If that's the case, she's the reason why her mother is dead.

Ok I listened to this story more times than I dare admit. Gale received the ML incriminating "evidence" just before the car crash (around 22:16). So not only did she knew her possible killer just before it happened but she let him near her during the whole recovery AND planned her marital revenge as she was rehabilitating? Blah I hate how much I enjoyed this flawed and seemingly incomplete story, yes I will be listening to it just for the feels.

Wtf Peter fell into the same pit he dug for Michael! 😂😂 I don’t get how she couldn’t even consider the possibility that Michael wouldn’t betray her and her mom, especially after they’ve been with him since she was 15. After everything her mother did for him, how could he betray them? I guess this is what happens when you take someone for granted, someone who stood by you through thick and thin. Sure, some people betray after years of trust, but she should’ve at least thought that Michael wouldn’t betray them.

Usually, I feel a bit bad for ones like this where it’s written more like a tragedy where the FL is not malicious, but I really don’t this time. Gale, kind of sucks. She completely took him for granted, and it wasn’t even due to misunderstanding or resentment. Then she threw them away in two seconds without any real investigation, because as he pointed out, she knew deep down that he would forgive her regardless of what happened. She deserves everything she got.
