Hello, we are introducing ‘Face 3D’, an AE plug-in.
'Face 3D' is a plugin that very easily Image To 3D
Images created in 3D can be linked with AE Light to create stunning scenes.
Basically, it is only with AE 2024, but if you have 'Element 3D', it will also work with lower Ver AE

한 2년 전에 다른 플러그인을 사용해서 이런 효과를 넣은 영상을 만들었는데 그땐 사실상 데스맵도 노가다였거든요.. 그거에 비하면 정말 편리하네요. C4D 사용하는 부분도 너무나 잘 봤습니다.

안녕하세요~! AE 2024에서는 그림자가 표시 되지 않습니다 ㅠ 엘리먼트3D로 해야 그림자까지 표현할 수 있습니다.. 좀 더 세부적인 표현을 위해서는 엘리먼트3D를 통해 사용하는 것이 좋습니다. 2024에서 하는 방법과 엘리먼트3D에서 하는 방법은 장단점이 있습니다. 2024에서는 초보자들도 매우 쉽게 결과물을 만들어 낼수 있지만 그림자나 환경등에서 다소 제한적입니다. 엘리먼트3D를 통해서 하면 세부적인 조절이 필요하지만 기본 기능보다 디테일한 표현이 가능합니다. ^^

@@곽규민-t8c 안녕하세요 엘리먼트3D는 에펙에서 거의 필수로 사용되는 3D플러그인입니다. 많이 어렵지 않으면서 라이팅이나 최종 품질 면에서 상당히 만족스럽게 나옵니다. 말씀하신 에펙에서 C4D를 지원하는 Cineware는 저는 잘 사용하지 않습니다. ㅠ 무겁게 느껴지고 이걸 사용했을 때 전체적으로 씬이 무거워지는 느낌을 받았습니다. 그래서 3D로 씬 전체를 만들 때는 처음부터 C4D에서 작업을 하고 최종 렌더링과 멀티 패스까지 렌더링하여 에펙으로 가져와 합성합니다. 또는 에펙에서 3D 일부만 필요한 경우에는 C4D에서 모델링을 하고 OBJ로 익스포트하여 엘리먼트3D로 불러와 작업하는 방식을 선호 합니다. 엘리먼트 3D와 3D툴은 성격이 다르기 때문에, 어떤 도구를 배워야 할지 고민하기보다는 3D 소프트웨어에서 만든 데이터를 엘리먼트3D로 불러와 활용하는 식으로 생각하는 것이 좋습니다. 그렇게 하면 두 도구를 동시에 활용하여 더 효율적인 작업을 할 수 있을 것입니다.

hello. The reason for remeshing is because when you first click Make 3D to create an obj, the created obj has uneven surfaces, which causes problems when lighting. If you don't plan on lighting the scene, you don't need to remesh.

Hey, great tut, as usual., thank you! Do you know if Element 3D working on AE 2024? I was reading it only worked on AE 2022 not later. I understood the new AE version has similar capability for light and shadows as Element 3D? Was it right?

1. Element3D works fine in version 2024. 2. The newer versions of AE have greatly improved 3D capabilities, but are far behind Element 3D in terms of HDRI, light, and shadows. The new 3D features have the advantage of being easier to use, but they don't come close to the high quality work that Element 3D does. I don't know what the beta version of AE is like, but I think it will get better.

hello. Of course it is possible without C4D. Originally, the purpose of this plugin was to make it simple without any other external programs or plugins. Also, the combination of Face3D and E3D was really good. The reason for remesheting with C4D is that the default generated obj has uneven surfaces. This is not noticeable when not lighting. However, when the lighting is installed, the surface becomes unnatural, so to solve this, we remeshed it in C4D to make the surface even.

@@TutoView Thank you, but from your video it is not clear how you do it. I mean - you prepared a 2d composition in face3D. There is obj object, camera etc created in this composition. Then you create a new comp with Element 3D, right? And how you transfer face 3D comp into Element 3D comp? It was not clear. Maybe you could give a hint, please?

@@Yumator In the latest version of Face3D (1.0.2), if you use the script in versions prior to AE 2024, it will automatically be created with the E3D setting. However, in the latest version, AE 2024, it will not be set to E3D because it is natively supported by AE. To set it as E3D in newer versions of AE, you need to manually import the obj file. In the tutorial, “0:28” is from the AE latest ver(2024) and “8:23” is AE 2022

와... 진짜 감사합니다, 최고네요... 근데 이게 3d렌더러가 어드벤스드로만 되서 카메라의 피사계심도가 비활성화 되는데 올려주신 영상에서는 활성화가 되있네요? 직접 설정에서 3d렌더러를 클래식으로 바꾸면 피사계심도가 활성화가 되긴하는데 뷰포트가 블랙으로 오브젝트들이 안보이게 되네요.. 엘리먼트를 사용하지 않으면 카메라의 피사계심도는 사용이 불가능한걸까요? 면을 고르게 하는것도 c4d가 문제인지.. 리메쉬를 하고 저장을 한 파일을 에펙에서 불러오면 언세이브? 무슨 에러창이 뜨면서 로드가 안되서.. 조명을 활용할 수가 없네요 ㅠ 그래도 강의 덕분에 여러모로 유용하게 쓸 수 있을거 같아서 너무 좋습니다!

안녕하세요~! 피사계심도는 엘리먼트3D가 아니면 사용이 불가능합니다. ㅠ 첫 번째 예제는 AE2024 진행하였고, 두 번째 예제는 AE2022에서 엘리먼트를 활용한 튜토리얼 입니다. C4D에서 리메셔를 하고 obj로 익스포트 해야 합니다. 지금까지 사용하면서 가끔 에러가 생겨도 다시 불러오면 정상적으로 불러와 졌는데 이상하네요 ㅠ 한글 폴더가 없는지.. 혹은.. 파일명에 특수 문자가 없는지 확인해보세요. 가끔 특수 문자랑 한글 이름이 들어가면 에러가 생기는 경우가 있습니다.

The Remesher feature is not available in Cinema 4D Lite. And in Blender, you need to use a paid plugin called Quad Remesher. But I think there are free ones too. I'm not a Blender user so I'm not sure... 😢
