Does the BG need to be a picture or a video to work ? i have created a magic circel that spin and i turned it into a precomposition to make a 3D layer to give some persective, but now i want the light of the magic circle to hit the back of a character that i puted in front of it but the light wrap doesn't work like on the video.

hello. The difference between light wrap and normality is that light wrap makes the result of compositing more natural by compositing light on the edge of an object. It is a technology widely used in film and drama compositing. Normality extracts a normal map from an object and applies various effects such as three-dimensional effect or light to the object. Since it reacts with the normal map, you can create a light that reacts to the bending of an object. However, there is a limit to extracting a normal map from a 2D object, so good results can be obtained by extracting a normal map from a 3D object. 'light wrap' can be a better choice if you only synthesize light at the edge of the object. However, if you need to follow the curvature of an object, you should use 'normality'. 'light wrap is much easier. The normality plugin works on Mac, but it doesn't work if macOS is the latest version. The normality plugin was released a long time ago and is no longer updated.

저도 cc2017을 사용하고 있는데 작성자분처럼 배경 레이어를 지정하고 다 했는데 블랙아웃 현상이 생깁니다. 그리고 튜토리얼처럼 안내해주신대로 플러그인 다운 받고 설치했는데 이펙창의 다른점은 Background Layer 옆에 배경을 지정하도록 되어 있고 그 옆에 소스란이 있는데 저는 소스란 자체가 없습니다.

hello. Does the attached project file appear black when opened? If so, you can try this method. 1. File -> Project Settings -> Change the video, effect rendering engine to software or CUDA. 2. Edit -> Purge -> Delete memory and cache.

this plugin have limitation on composition size, if you have large scale composition size, this tool will not working properly

It worked fine at 1080 and 4K. I haven't tested it beyond that. If the light wrap is cut off, the light wrap source and footage must be pre-compose according to the current comp size for it to work properly.

If the amount of light is not as desired even after adjusting the intensity of the light, try adjusting the z-position of the light a little.
