What is mean by influence, in the keyframe velocity box
@EliasSarantopoulos3 жыл бұрын
Vishal, adjusting the Bezier/influence handles changes the degree of the motion or velocity. Moving an influence handle away from a keyframe will shape a path with a more gradual incline and therefore a gentler slow in / slow out. The 70% for example is just a number that I like to use which means you can go higher or lower depending on the motion you are after. Hope that helps and thank you for your feedback! 😀

How do you select which curve to animate? Hello,Elias, I have a question, depending on what you select the curve that you animate, since sometimes you use the "value" or sometimes you use the "speed", with what criteria do you know which one to move? Thank you very much. :)
@EliasSarantopoulos2 жыл бұрын
Maria, the most used one is the Speed Graph because it's related to speed but if you want to change Position values for example then switch to the Value graph because you are charging values rather than speed. Does this make sense? 👋

Speed Graph measures speed or velocity over time and you can change the speed of animation between keyframes using its Speed Graph as I demonstrate in the first part. Graph editor in AE seems like a rocket science gone mad compared to the excellent one in Blender. I think I'll never understand it properly.
@EliasSarantopoulos2 жыл бұрын
All you mostly do inside the Graph Editor is changing keyframe behavior, for example, from Linear which has constant velocity to Easy Ease which slowly accelerates and slowly deselarate. The Graph Editor helps us with to change those values. Hope this helps M Z. 😀 👋
@veruzzzz2 жыл бұрын
@@EliasSarantopoulos I completely understand all of these basic principles but those weird spikes, arches and keyframes detached from each other in the Speed graph are just a headache for me :D For example in Blender, the curve (path) and speed have two independent controls whereas in AE both speed and a path have their keyframes clumped in one graph. I can manage to work in 2D space just fine but once I have 3D space and three axes, controlling the path and a speed of an object along this path is super hard for me to understand in AE.
