@@ja9mz663 As far as I understand it, no. The nerves are reconnected but it takes the brain a while to understand WHAT it's connecting to. A bit like a new piece of computer hardware needs specific drivers to work with the whole machine but the brain is flexible and adaptable enough to create it's own drivers, but it takes a while. From some of the vids I've seen it takes 2 or more years to get most of the movement and sensations back but the result is very impressive considering how complicated the whole thing is :)

@@ja9mz663 You're welcome. Remember I'm just interested in this kind of thing and NOT a professional. They're unlike to get full motion compared to the original with but they're more likely to fit in and not be stared at in public, the addition of expressions (variable as they are seemingly), I expect, is just a bonus (a nice one though :P)

I don’t know if your still around, but if you are, know that Jesus will fulfill you more than anything in this world, I speak from experience (from when i did Romans 10:9-13), he loves you and wants to be in a meaningful (not romantic) relationship with you. :) “that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:9-13 KJV “and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” Mark 1:15 KJV If you want proof that Jesus and the Bible are true look a documentary called “Ron Wyatt discoveries 2022” on KZbin and a KZbin channel called Expedition Bible. They both examine archeological sites and discoveries that prove the Bible, and even reference secular sources. (Just don’t convert to 7th day Adventism after watching the documentary) And lastly if you don’t know the gospel and want to be saved search up “abc’s of Salvation Teenmissions” on Google and it should be the first or second result. When you click on it read the whole thing, and do what it says and have faith in Jesus while you are doing it, do not doubt, and if it is hard for you to do what it says, ask Jesus to help you, have faith that he will, and *he will.* God Bless :)

But he also had to learn how to talk wih it again because some of the mobility with a loss and so he had to get that back and he sounds different now.. Just different. But he looks good. Shouldn't the MIRACLE God SHOULD have performed was this man's entire face, scalp and ears NOT BEING BURNED OFF? It's such a slap in the face when a news reporter says "A woman survived in a collapsed building for 8 days without food and water," NOOOO, the miracle would have been NOT having an earthquake that killed 6,000 people and collapsed the building that fell on the woman, trapping her for 8 days, in the first place. 5,999 other families all lost a father, mother, brother, sister, or a son or a daughter. How is that a miracle? Yes this fire fighter saved lives when he was burned but couldn't the fire just not have started in the first place? Or God could have held up the roof that fell on him until he got everyone out. Oh, sorry, "his ways aren't our ways".....AND...."God sometimes works in mysterious ways." GREAT ANSWERS, coming from the people who claim that God talks directly to them!!!

@@nathanbomgaars3031 The arrogance of a typical sheltered Westerner. Is there a God? No one can say for sure, but you can be sure as hell that your account, assuming you believe in organized religion, is just as wrong in its specificities as every other deist belief in the world. You'd doubt your fear-driven confidence if you ever catch a glimpse of the cruel reality of nature, where suffering is bountiful. We can be humanists without relying on tribalism driving us towards absolutist convictions about unfalsifiable ideas.
