The scary part of attempting suicide is surviving it. Then having to live with such horrific consequences.

Chibougamee men pay the highest toll? You cannot generalise like that one could say more men top themselves then women but more women lose their life’s at the hands of men including millions of unborn baby girls the world over in China there is a desperate shortage of women because of female infanticide and as far a feminism is concerned it’s simply just a reaction as a result of male domination and brutally, I don’t believe in the feminist movement because I don’t like extremists and it’s also a case of 2 wrongs don’t make a right!!! However this stuff about men always paying the highest price is not true but they certainly have paid a price, but not the highest.

This hit me in another way. I made terrible decisions, also very impulsive decisions as Katie but to get plastic surgery because I hated my original face, after battling BDD and suicidal thoughts for so long I really regretted getting surgery and Katie’s story reminded me of how our faces are not just for aesthetic value, but highly functional. Every muscle, every facial feature is functional and we need to cherish and protect our faces. If any young girl is watching this, please don’t kill function for aesthetics and make the same mistakes that I did. Impulsive decisions are terrible because they stay with us forever. I hope you know your face is beautiful as it is, eyes to see, a nose to breathe well, that’s beauty. Stay safe and blessed everyone x❤

If it isn't broke, don't fix it!!! I got rhinoplasty some yrs ago by a rhino specialist. Making a long story short, I have needed MAJOR RECONSTRUCTIVE surgery since, but didn't have the funds or the nerve to go through that horror again. And the reconstruction would be much worse because so much was removed inside. They need to harvest cartilage from my ears and ribs and use synthetic mesh, also. So instead of trusting someone else, with no guarantees, I use breath right strips, tape my nose up, use humidifiers, oral gel, nasal gel and other devices to get through the day and night. Going to that man was the worst decision that I have ever made. Say no to plastic surgery because in general, those docs are protected and there is LITTLE ACCOUNTABILITY on their behalf! The best to you all!!!

Depression is no joke, stop judging her, you can never imagine the amount of pain going on inside one's head, constant and with hopelessness, it leaves you with a strange feeling that screams in your head that you're unloved, not worthy, have no future and it makes you anxious constantly and any time it roars high and suddenly changes your thoughts from normal to extreme that then can change your determined decesions into hopelessness, life will be never like before and you constantly blame yourself for everything, you get triggered by tiny thoughts literally anytime and you won't be able to do things in which you were very good/best, and you can't think clearly, your thought process changes and literally everything changes EVERYTHING, so stop judging her, you don't know what it's like to be depressed. @@suyanatsuri3982 I have these feelings at times, but you have to try and change your mind by thinking positively. Its difficult when you become depressed, because the threshold that handles pain, stress grows very small making coping with anything, even small disappointments difficult. I think it's good to think in a way like, I let external things influence my mood for such a while that my DNA has changed to constantly being in a state of angst or depression, but I can change it just as I changed it to begin with, you can change it, just being positive and continually saying thank you, be thankful for small things, say them out loud, until you see changes, they actually happen. I remember I have felt so low that nothing seemed to help but I kept doing that anyways, and slowly I started to attract positive people and experiences that made me feel happiness

I've always been a reflective and emotional person and I've kept a journal for decades. It fascinates me now, in my 30s, to read back on things I had written that were so critical and essential to me at that time and now, are barely memories-often, not memories at all, but things I don't recall. Whatever you are going through, please do not to make permanent choices about momentary emotions. Life has a way of working itself out, and every thing that goes "wrong" is actually a necessary branch on the path to a beautiful future you don't even know of yet.

@@marielafayette6820 Now that I think about it, I do not believe this a self-love issue. It doesn't matter if you love yourself. Humans want to be "loved" by others because they depend on other people's acceptance to satisfy their fleshly desires. They know other human beings will not bring joy to their lives if they are "unlovable" to others. Unfortunately, we are social beings who do depend on other people for our temporary satisfaction on under this curse. So now I have a big indicator that you are not even aware of subjectivity of your statements. Yet, you treat your opinions as something valid. Pretty bad for you. Every person with decent amount of intelligence or healthy mind won't indicate if certain deity exists or not. From your position you should know you have no idea if there is a God/s or not. If patient comes into therapy and says "I'm atheist" we are already determined to know what went wrong with development process of the patient, aka we are very likely to determine what kind of disorder the patient may have, if none we'll be looking for events in patient's life that were somehow traumatizing. Does this boath float both ways? Depends, if patient is a member of religious organization we are trying to know if it's healthy faith or toxic one, the second one was likely forced upon patient by environment or patient is looking for something to fulfil the emptiness that s/he may or may not be aware of.

I've been there...drove my car into the garage and spent a few weeks in a coma. I'm glad I lived, I'm glad you lived, and the stores of people who jump and live always have the same gist "regret the second I stepped..." I think most people who survive regret it, and that only makes me think that those who complete suicide would've too had they made it. Any decision made impulsively under duress ends poorly, in this case catastrophically. That said I support medically assisted euthanasia since it's a process, it's not a split second decision and there's a very open and frank dialogue so there's time to figure out what's the best course. Really? I suppose that is how you make yourself look good though, eh? Signal to everyone how bad other people are, in an attempt of making you look greater by comparison in the process. Such originality there and not, you know, something that EVERY comment section has these days by people who like to feel special. Let me tell you something... You are not. You are free to ignore those comments, roll your eyes or whatever it is you do and then move on. You could just shut up and not highlight it but of course, people with your mindset cannot just do that, you have to make a show of it, that you are a 'Good person' and quite frankly, I find you more repulsive than those you are decrying. At least many of them are just crappy jokes, you, on the other hand, seem to think your sh*te doesn't stink but the very fact you feel the need to even do this sort of comment, just shows how much of a needy person you truly are. You're not special. Let me guess before you even say it, this is the "First time," You have said anything such as this because it just made you so mad!? 'Grrrr,' right? 'Darn those meanies!' I bet in reality though, this is what you do all the time because, without it, you'd have NOTHING of note to contribute otherwise, you'd have nothing unique or original to say and hence why you avoid changing minds, which you would do if that is what you truly cared about. You had the chance to only say something positive and you would have gained my Like but like so many, many, MANY others, you just had to make this about you first, signalling out your virtue to others, looking for confirmation through Likes for little effort. This is why I dislike your comment more than those being mean or joking. It is nothing personal. Moral busybody comments such as yours are truly awful. Especially when you realise the motivation behind what was said, when you are more likely to be POS yourselves, unlike those making jokes, you are just dishonest about what you are saying and why. No one likes moral busybodies but other moral busybodies.

It's interesting because I couldn't Imagine feeling the way you do. Of course I respect your decision and feelings regarding your own body. More than anything I just think it's interesting how differing peoples feelings can be regarding this kind of thing. I personally have no attachment to my body. I've made it super clear to my family that if anything happens to me, to use everything that is salvageable because I will have absolutely no use for it at that point.

Better than going to hell for an eternity. Suicide is a sin. She got away with it and got this penalty instead to grow from it and maybe to teach others a lesson who hear her story as well.

She jumped when her mum clapped her hands imitating the gunshot sound - shes clearly still traumatised by that sound :(

@Aditya kapoor yes that’s possible - but I’m also sure that the sound of a gunshot to your own head would definitely make a sound NEVER to be forgotten. It would have been a moment in her life where that sound would have made a profound impact in her psyche. And maybe even the fact that her mother was talking about the gunshot sound and then imitated it with her clap may also indicate that the sound of the gunshot still scars her?

That jump is a normal reaction to an unexpected loud noise
@zinagrillo14 жыл бұрын
@@heidih3048 maybe - but I imagine she would suffer from PTSD or some kind of trauma. The sound and impact of a gunshot to the head would have shattered her mind in a way that we could never imagine. I wouldn't jump if someone described a gun shot and clapped. She is not startled at the sound of the clap - she CRINGES and hunches her body at the sound, watch her body language.
