Shifting at 2k rpm is like driving a car. At 2k rpm the engine is far from its power band and torque is low. This parallel twin was made to be revved and provides peak power at 7k rpm. That's why I prefer stock exhaust over loud ones. I can stay in the power band without being loud, although I wish there was more low end grunt. There isn't an exhaust out there that makes low end sound nice while being legally quiet at high rpms.

Okay so guys from Bombay...the RTO is in a drive mode with targets to catch illegal exhaust...as in after market exhaust...they are not bothered with the sound decibel ...just that u have changed from company exhaust is enough for them...not to mention the favorite bike in question is RE...so if u ride n RE u will be caught ....some places where the random checks happening is Tulsi pipe road and the RTO office below Bandra bridge where u connect to eastern express highway...

Thanks for the review, too much negative review for AEW exhaust out there, despite all that, I still like the TE102 exhaust, I did couple it it with DNA air filter and the throttle response is fantastic. I prefer off-throttle rumble with the baffles, the exhaust gives that nice base punch at 4k rpm .... love it ...

Aew is the best exhaust for interceptor tried redrooster for 2 months the shifter to aew te 101 used it for 3 months but those are too loud finally settled for te 102 exhaust these are simply 👌

Hmm warranty.. I don't know what how the law is written in India, but in the US, they can't void your complete warranty. For example, if change your exhaust, your exhaust warranty will be no good, but everything else is still good. Let's say your transmission dies; they can't just deny a transmission warranty fix because you changed the exhaust.. The dealer/manufacture would need to prove the aftermarket exhaust caused the transmission failure. Only then are they allowed to deny the warranty claim.

Is this possible if we place the street twin exhaust in interceptor as the street exhausts are slightly small and they are not high like interceptor because if we put any saddle bag then it has the chances if getting burned but this is not the case in street twin and moreover the sound is amazing in street twin exhaust...
