While I appreciate Poland's effort to approach China for assistance, I think Poland actually played a very bad hand in this game. How so? It actively encourages Zelensky and the west to ramp up the war by being the most vocal and most willing contributor of weapons to Ukraine. Ukraine wouldn't be in the bad place it is in now if Poland and a few ex-Soviet states such as Lithuania and Latvia, saw this as an opportunity to inflict revenge on Russia because of the past. Obviously Stoltenberg is way too toxic to talk to China because he is a loud mouth war monger. Maybe Poland might be a chance for China to wedge NATO ?

It seems to be like that. But the signature of Putin is completely different from Gorbachev (to a certain degree in my eyes) and certainly different from the Soviet leaders before Gorbachev. The problem we have in the Ukraine is we have a false narrative, which is the Russians invaded the Ukraine, which is false--- the Russians attrition the Ukraine, not invaded , and all areas of Russian political dominance, where the Russians were the ethnic majority, decided that they wanted political autonomy, and declared their own sphere of influence, free from both Moscow and Kiev , but Kiev wouldn't allow the ethnic Russian majority to use land from Ukrainian boundary to do so ! But there was no invasion.. just a military force sent to protect ethnic Russians from murderous marauding Ukrainian nations trained by CIA military advisors to use shotguns and mortar fire on the Russian perimeter of the Eastern Ukraine seeking political to independence from Moscow to achieve freedom of writing expression, but Ukraine under the tutelage of the CIA would not allow this to happen! If the Hispanic population south of the I- 10 freeway in the USA from Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas said ," we want to succeed from the USA and establish our own republic with the backing of Mexico's military" , then this would be analogous to the situation in the Ukraine! The Russians did not invade Ukraine, they attrition the Ukraine where the Russians are the ethnic majority, and thus Gen .
