This is absolutely the WORST version of this song I've ever heard. It's been up for almost five years, and has just over 7,000 views, so I'm not alone with that sentiment. There must be some good reason for a person to take a great song like this and destroy it, I just don't know what it is. And frankly, I don't want to know.

As written by JJ Cale, the song is played at a rather fast tempo. This version was a simple reinterpretation to not only highlight Slow Hand, but to fit the 80's. There's really no "bad" version of the song.

As I'm a big Clapton fan, I agree with you. This is the worst version ever. I like 70 original... But my favorite is the fast ones Ala just one night. There are bootlegs of 1983 with Albert Lee in Yt, they are even better than J1N. Then the ones with Steve Winwood 2010 are nice too
