I guess your mom probably saw your question as disrespectful to your dad rather than being curious because racism was and is such a raw subject. Growing up in the Caribbean I felt the impact of colorism being a darker shade than most girls I went to school with. It’s a topic that affects one psychologically and back then, thus feeling of inferiority was not combatted by our parents and fore-parents. You were never told “you’re yellow and ugly” but always “you’re black and ugly”. I try to tell my kids everyday how beautiful they are! We as mothers have to help our little black babies feel worthy and loved and equal!! I hope you were able to talk to your mom about it and clear the air.

Streaming it is the best way to go or they need to restock it back up or something because why mention it at all when you know the fans are going to want to hear and get it. I hope she was joking on that or trying to lead away from the question because she has something planned with that. She had said she was looking for the version with her lead vocals and she wasn't going to stop until she found it. I was hoping that meant a eventual release/re-release. I know it's a fun/silly album but the lambs still want it. Please don't make this another Angel's Advocate where she says something and then we get nothing.

It sucks that Madonna was Miss quoted by a interviewer with the intent of selling a false story to create a feud and sales it sucks because during that era M was in her R&B phase she was just vocally trained for her role in Evita and the music she made was timeless especially her music with Babyface and Mariah was on another level at that time had non of that happened we could’ve prob been have had a song with them both together

If Andy is a fan of Mariah he should have known that Mariah covered Patti's If Only You Knew YEARS ago. Its on KZbin. Come on bro... get it together. Ha ha BTW Mariah did a better job than Patti's Version. I love her lower octaves. Sigh I wish I related to Mariah so we can harmonize. Ha
