Zebra strip (the pink rubber) can come away from LCD, it's not broken. You can still put it back together.

When I was a child I strip away tons of them but never be able to put back successfully. The screen worked but just showed random lines 😢

I am terribly upset that the sequel video where he shows all of the toys from this line is labeled as “for kids“ and has no comment section. No fault of dankpods, KZbin can be stupid with that but at least whoever reads this will know it exists now! What I wanted to comment on that video is I don’t think I went to McDonald’s much as a kid, but I remember having most of these toys. I wasn’t even that big into Shrek. Absolutely bonkers to me.

It is fault of DANKPODS, I mean 90% YT, but 10% Dank, in the sense that "FOR KIDS" disables comment section for "REASONS" kind of like YT playing like a slideshow on my i7 1200h A770m 64GB RAM 8TB NVME PC since I like FIREFOX and the fact it has adblockers that work.

I remembered having this watch when I saw this video teased in the main vid, but couldn't find it anywhere. Fast forward to today, and I found it in my desk while setting up a computer! I'll have to try and see if I can get it working.

The watch is actually still perfectly fine, this is how the zebra strip (pink squishy) is supposed to come out! Place the zebra strip back against the LCD in the spot it was when you took it apart, within the little green bit. The screws on the watch board press it against the contacts on the PCB to connect the screen.

it hurts seeing you not put that back together specifically because I am familiar enough with those screens to know you just kinda slap it in, hope its right and if not take it out and flip it. There are actually contacts they're just very very hard to see.
