Finally seen the illusive Missy (guess she is real) she seems like a pretty funny gal. Good idea sell the car give the money to help children you can't go wrong there!! When she said the car looked very aged I thought "that's what I think when I look in a mirror!" You can buy a clear coat repair in a spray can, we tried it and it worked pretty good.
