I'm loving the game. I was able to get the solo beta rules from the designer and I have really enjoyed playing solitaire. Very easy to run and tense and fun. And yeah, it's not a beat your high score. You are going up against the A.I. directly, you have to have the most gold at the end of the game to beat it. The actions the A.I. takes will bump up their gold as the game goes on, and some actions will decrease their gold. They will also get sacked sometimes. I've been really surprised at how close my solo games have been.

I got to play this with the designers at the Portland, OR Comicon a couple years ago. Had a great time, but got my but kicked. I'm looking forward to adding it to my collection.

This is essentially Galaxy Trucker the Medieval edition.

Great review, I’ve had this on preorder since early Feb, sadly COVID and BREXIT issues have heavily delayed it, no one knows when it’ll arrive in the UK ☹️ Can’t wait and in the meantime I’ve backed the upgrade and solo on Gamefound. My most anticipated game of 21 so far!

Looks good. Almost pulled the trigger on this but.... it seems too multiplayer solitaire.... rinse n repeat repetitive.... very random, luck heavy...

This is probably a play but not a purchase for me. Will weigh it again when I see the solitaire variant. Love the castle mechanics and random direction by not organizing the attacker deck.

Awesome, small correction; Stone Turrets are not destroyed, you place a flame token there and is disabled until repaired for 2 stone to remove the flame token and optionally 2 more to replenish its health

@@DriveThruReview Heh we're both right, you at 10:15 and me at 15:20, btw the order for siege damage is weakest wood turret, weakest stone turret then the remaining turret then the wall.
