After the End: Everything we know about Americanism and Remembrants

A presentation of all the information I could gather (and was allowed to share) on Americanism and Remembrants in After the End for CK3. Don't mind the low resolution. I had to use other people's footage and images for this video. In future I will make content with my own footage and the resolution will increase as a result, in addition to the depth I can discus the topic of a given video

I love the americanist story of how the divine founder Kennedy set his mind to a task that many thought was utterly impossible and yet he managed it, he was able to break the sky open and send the mighty hero Glenn to walk among the clouds. Enraged by this, those who had doubted him sent a demonic assassin to kill the divine founder. However two more great hero's "Buzz lightyear" and "Neil Armstrong" continued Kennedys quest and using all the power granted to them by the founders, they managed one giant leap all the way to the moon as if it were one small step in just 12 seconds! They were so powerful that as they jumped, a great stream of fire followed them through the sky! Truly a great story, my favourite part was when Kennedy said "we do not do this because it is easy but because it is hard!"

I'd love to see the Remembrants have a holy site at the tomb of the unknown soldier. It'd just make sense to me

I would be incredibly surprised if it wasn't. Especially since even if the tomb specifically was not considered a holy site in the game, the devs would still make Ottawa a holy site because of its status as a major city of the ancient empire of Canada 🇨🇦

I've read the devlogs on religion and IDK if it's just nationalism, but the modernism religion is such a cool reference to brazillian culture and it shows that the devs really care about the cultures they are portraying! at least on the Brazillian side if things they did a great job! I'd like to know what y'all other south americans outside of Brazil thought of your place!

Part of the reason I discussed the Remembrants in this video was my love for Canadian representation. This mod will do many things to more fully capture the AtE Canadian experience and I love it! I will most definately need to dedicate a video to Brasil and the Modernist week event. Damn I love that event so much

AtE is one of the best fan total conversion mods I've ever played and it looks like the DNA of the CK2 version is alive and well in the CK3 version.

It most certainly is. Though they have taken a "nothing I sacred" approach, the mod maintains much of the previous version's base. Though there are plenty of things that will bother people as well. I know that some people are very upset about the removal of Anglican from the Maritimes for example

I would love for there to be two different empire level titles American character could found. The first being made of the original 13 colonies and the second obviously being the continental United States.

Americanists expanding in general will be strange, due to the fact that regardless of how powerfull an Americanist lord is, the president is always elected and the city of Washington needs to be handed to said head of faith. So even after uniting the continental united states, the faith would need to be reformed to make the leader the president. I do hope there are eventually a bunch of formable nations. I want to unite all the ancient empires of the old world!

@@PardonerJauffre Yes, the president should automatically become the head of the faith. That just makes sense. I would love once you form America you can create unique kingdoms which are basically each of the states of the USA. Also some flavor change by changing the title of king to "Senator" or something would be nice
