Hey Joe, I love acorn squash. I don't know how you fixed it, but tell Melissa to try this: I stab a bunch of deep holes in the halves with a heavy fork, then put a thick pad of butter in it with a heaping tablespoon of brown sugar on top the butter. The butter and brn sugar find their way down the stabed holes. It comes out sweet and buttery! Delicious!!

Joe - you might consider using for your remote lights. - When unloading cut wood from your front end loader keep it elevated a few feet saves back with less bending over. Just a thought…

I think that’s how I would load my wood burner this year. Fill up the bucket, raise it to waist height, lay down a sheet of old ply wood and stack a couple of those oak rounds to rest the bucket on. Should be enough wood in the bucket to go 2 days or so before you would have to load it back up.

The beginning of December. She calves the beginning of March. You want her to dry up at least 2 months before giving birth. It gets cold here in December so we will dry her off 3 months prior. At least that is the plan right now. We start milking again right after she has her calf.
