My friend showed me this video while I was going through my breakup last winter. It was difficult for me to watch, I cried so much at th first couple of seconds. I closed it right away because I knew the video was so close to the truth, it was hard for me to accept that this will be my reality. At the time, I wished so hard for us to get back together. We were together for almost 4 years, it couldn't have ended there...not when I needed him the most. At the time, I didn't want to live anymore because the person I needed the most, left me aside. I was going through personal problems which put a strain on our relationship. However, I kept telling myself that this is only temporary...the storm will eventually subside. I had to keep in mind that I am a fighter, a survivor, an independent woman. I watched this video today to see how much progress I've made. I cried again, not when it showed the first step but when it showed the last couple steps. Why? Because I did it. I made it through the hardest time of my life and I survived. There are absolutely no words to describe the pain I was going through all of 2015...I rly thought I wouldn't make it. Right now, I feel happy. I feel excited. Relieved. Renewed. I am not going to lie, there are times where I do miss my ex and wonder how he is doing. I have relapsed an immense amount of times, but that is ok. Everything you are going through is ok. I feel happy rebuilding myself. I am finally finding me again. I'm learning more about myself and realizing the fact that this quiet little girl has a strong bone in her body. The fact that I am still single doesn't bother me because I am enjoying the time that I have for myself. I wanted to share this because I was never a believer about things ever getting better, BUT THEY DO. PLEASE WAIT, GIVE TIME AND NEVER GIVE UP. You will see the end of the tunnel and a light will be shining for you to see that you made it out of the dark.

It isn't stupidity and it isn't hating. If you can't take criticism then you never advance (although clearly WFP has taken NONE of the feedback to heart except for the positive ones). It's undeniable that this narrative is one of the weakest in recent releases; though that's not saying much considering the lackluster content in general. While the idea might be worth filming (here's a hint, it isn't), it certainly wasn't fleshed out well in reality.

I just ended a three year and eight month relationship. It was my doing, but I'm having a hard time. We had the same friends, and he was my best friend. It's been almost two months, and I'm having a hard time not having any one left to talk to. His family is bashing me on social media, my former co-workers (which is where he works currently) won't speak to me, and almost all of our friends aren't my friends anymore - they're his. I told one of our best friends (we called ourselves the "tri-force" - like Legend of Zelda) to stay being his friend and help him through this, but I think I forgot to tell him I still need a friend as well. Majority who came to see this video also had a bittersweet ending, it's been 5 months later after a 2 year relationship. It was tough when you love someone so much yet the timing was off. And peace of mind wasn't available. Sleepless nights, I took all the items out and returned it and also threw some out. And yes, guys do cry. I cried while driving. Like baby mode. As time goes by, you'll realize it's just one of those tough trials. Or that movie 500 days of summer. Where some people are meant to fall in love but not meant to be together. Keep that in mind. All I know she's with someone new already after a month. Fast and leaves a poor taste but not all people are the same. I, on the other hand seeing this girl and I'm at the courting stage. It's just hard changing routine, and realizing who were my friends and who weren't. I'm sorry about the breakup between you and your ex. I watched this in 2016 during a breakup from my first relationship. I remember feeling so devasted and broken. I can't believe I'm back watching this video again after five years, after another 3-year relationship has ended. I thought this relationship was going to be "it". I didn't think I'd ever feel this lonely, lost and heartbroken again. Sometimes, you move on from a relationship fully healed, meet a new person in your life who makes you believe in love again, only to go back to square one once that relationship ends as well. I may not be okay now, but this video is a gentle reminder that I once felt like I would never recover and move on, but I did. And the same will happen this time around. I think the beautiful thing about this short is that it is applicable to much more than just a difficult breakup. My first love was a horrible, abusive individual and it took me years to get through all the stages after we broke up - but the thing that I found most compassionate about this video was someone telling the heroine, "It's okay to feel exactly how you feel right now." A lot of people had advice when I was going through tough times, but not one of them said, "It's okay to feel the way you feel." It's heartbreaking to know how someone so important to you decides to just walk out of your life one day. All the memories made. The secrets told, trust, a bond made, etc..then one day it's put to an end. I understand if someone isn't happy in a relationship it's better to leave, but what I don't understand is the opposite of that. How can someone tell you that they will be there for you, that you can always talk to them, how they will stay by your side right to your face and prove that all wrong? really well made video. I went through a divorce at 55 and break ups are hard at any age. I wish someone had told me some of my conflicted feelings were normal and you can still love someone but need to break up with them. You may even love them when you sign the divorce papers but you know full well you can't stay in an unhealthy relationship. A small piece of caring stays in your heart after the anger leaves but opening the heart for new love is necessary.

I remember going through a breakup. I watched this over and over again to remind myself that I could do it and make it. It took me almost a year and a half to reach the last step. It was hard- a lot of crying, a lot of fighting, a lot of reminiscing, a lot of suicidal thoughts. It was tough but I decided to heal on my own. Now, I found him. The man I’m about to marry. To you who’s reading this, I may not know your situation but whatever it is, take your time to heal. Go through the process. Give yourself more time. What’s meant for you will happen to you. So while you’re rebuilding yourself, pray for the ONE and keep fighting! You truly deserve someone better that is willing to give their all to you. You CAN do this. You’re so much stronger than this.

Thank you so much this it made me feel so much better I broke up with my boyfriend three months ago we haven’t talked since then but still have each other on social media I cried every hour every day for three months straight I still cry sometimes but not as bad as before but I do miss him especially he was my first boyfriend when we broke up I felt so suicidal things have gotten a little easier but I still have that fear that I’m not going to find someone as much as I liked him connection wise or what if I never find that person or what if I’m gonna be alone for the rest of my life. I really hope I find someone that will treat me how I’m suppose to be treated would love if gave any advice on how you coped and what helped you because sometimes I still feel lost.....

yessenia velasquez Hi! I’m so glad this touched you. I truly understand how you feel. You must be in a difficult place right now. And I’ve been there before, I thought that I could never find anybody who I could have a connection like I had but it’s all wrong, you see there is someone and there will be someone. It just seems so clouded and impossible to find someone because of the pain we feel. But trust me, you’ll get there. It’s all about walking through the process. Take your time. He was also my first boyfriend, I remember fighting for him so hard and then I realized, I’m wasting all of my energy in fighting for someone who’s never coming back. And honey, he doesn’t deserve that. He should be running after you, not you after him. So here’s how I did it. I focused on MYSELF, my FAMILY, and my FRIENDS. I went out and hung out with them, surrounded myself with good friends, I spent more time with my family, we would go on vacations. I also got rid of everything that reminds me of him. I did a room makeover, I stopped watching movies that would trigger my emotions, I mainly focused on making myself beautiful inside and out so that I could be ready for the next man that would love me. I understand if you feel lost, feel hurt but don’t stay there. Someone you DESERVE is going to love you, is going to treat you right, is going to take you out on an adventure, and make you feel so important. It’s all about just WAITING and HEALING. And when you’re all okay and you have found someone, come back to this comment, I want to hear more about you!

Blueberry1261 thank you a lot for sharing with me. I try to talk to other guys so I can get that validation but it just makes me more sad and makes me miss my ex more than I start to cry cause I haven’t fully healed yet I’m actually crying as I write this cause the pain is so unbearable and I just miss my ex a lot. I feel like he moved on already cause he hasn’t tried to contact me my thoughts always keep me hopeful that he will come back but I don’t think that’s gonna happen which crushes me I know I broke up with him but it made me feel guilty like I made a mistake even though I didn’t get the respect I deserved the memories of us always makes me miss him so much. I wish he stayed the same like in the beginning of the relationship but along the way I never made me a priority, constantly would lie to me and I have a feeling he was cheating on me. I feel so alone like I have no one I just want to be happy again....

yessenia velasquez what do you mean by validation? To feel important? If that’s so, trust me you don’t need it. You don’t need anyone to make you feel that you’re enough. You’re enough just the way you are. Believe me. Don’t take any word from other guys. Their words will only fail you in the end. And I know it’s hard, it’s sad but hey cry if you need to, cry til you get over it, cry til you’re tired of crying over him and then from then on I want you to decide for yourself that this will be the end of crying. I want you to start picking up yourself and move on. Honestly girl, we all make mistakes, but for someone to reject you and treat you with disrespect over a mistake just shows that he’s not worth it. Do you seriously want to put up with a guy who will just break your heart? He can’t even keep up with you now what more if you guys keep this relationship going. Someway or the another, he’ll end up doing stuff behind your back. So big NO. You need a man not a boy. But you know what sis, you just wait and see. I promise, don’t give up just yet, you will be happy and someone is going to make that a priority for you. Happiness is a choice. Do you want to stay home and think about him all day? No he doesn’t deserve your attention at all. So don’t be sad, it’s his lost not yours. Just keep doing whatever helps you move on. All will be better again. I promise. You’re not alone okay?

Blueberry1261 I just wanted to feel important to him every time I would tell him he would always ignore the problem it just made me feel worse about myself no matter what I do I think about him and I start to cry for hours I just want this pain to go away so badly I want to be happy again with my life and it feels like I never will be again. i watch it everyday and i still cry, even though it's been a month. maybe because everything we did was my firsts. that's why I'm having hard time letting him go. and then we have to meet every week because of work, and that's not helping at all. i hope one day I'll get over him and smile at him for letting me meet better man 😔 but I don't know when that time will come
