The remarkable thing is, and you have it with a number of adidas shoes, that they look better on feet than if you see them in hand, sideways. Because the tongue is stretchy is retracts to the back which makes the shoe look somewhat daft in hand. But on feet they have the same shape as the Ultra Boost OG.

Tim Nosretap the iridescent paint is so cool! I actually like that the pellets are rounded, kinda looks like a brain or alien shoe. These shoes are the most comfy ones and my feet don’t ache much (very little) after a 4 mile run. I really feel the boost comfort when running. Unfortunately they are slightly heavier and they do feel heavy after a few miles. I loved running in them 10x more than ASICS kayano 26. It takes a few times to break into the snug feel of the upper. I thought I needed to go a half size up but if you do, you might sacrifice the secure fit of the shoe. It takes the upper at least 2 weeks to loosen up to your foot and feel more roomy and comfortable. It felt tight at first on the upper. Overall, incredible shoe. The heel to toe drop is notable too, it takes some getting used to.

It’s mainly because of the upper since it’s where the two differ. For the back part including the heel cage I’d give it to the 20’s for it hugs your heel better than the 19’s did but the upper of 19’s and it’s “sock-like” feel due to the knit is just a totally different and much more comfortable wear all day. I think it has to do with the ub20’s restructured sides on the front-side part of the shoe though, which makes it less snug than the 19’s.

yeah bro I agree. I have both and I prefer the 19s as well. They are both comfortable, but the 19s just feel a bit better, more "squishy". Also, the 20s seem to be a bit more loose in the toe area, which for me, aesthetically speaking, doesn't look as good when looking down. I prefer the more V shape of the 19s then the slightly more rounded shape of the 20s. But like I said, they are both comfy!

19s all the way. The knit is way stretchier and more comfortable, I'd only wear 20s for running! Plus I like the pull tab and the cage more; I have grey 19s and cut slits in the 3 Stripes cage so they look like shark gils :) way more breathable, and you can feel the primeknit underneath, which feels noticeably softer than the primeknit elsewhere on the shoe

Actually, the 19s fit a bit more snug compared to the 20s. The knit pattern of the 19s make it a bit uncomfortable for wide footers like me. It hugs the foot so tight that you kind of want to remove the shoe to let your feet breathe. The collar cushion on the 20s are heaven sent as well and makes it a LOT more comfortable than the 19s when walking long distances or even just chilling out.

These are probably the most comfortable pair I've tried on so far. Way better than the 2019. Also the part where the wing is with the 3 stripes has been altered. It now doesn't hit the widest part of my feet so it's a lot more comfortable for me. I definitely can't wear the 2019s with the wings being so in the front. I'm waiting for these to go on sale so I can grab a few pairs later this year :P

Does anyone have a problem with the metallic paint on the boost chipping off? I’ve had my pair for 3 months worn not really heavily and I’ve noticed a small though barely noticeable chip of the paint on side of the back. Just a thought if anyone might want to know. I bought my 20's on StockX for $120 plus shipping and tax. I got the triple black and black NASA pair for that same price. This makes this a much better buy IMO. I like the slanted cage on the 20's compared to the 19's. The aesthetics are just much sleeker on the 20's. I did buy a pair of 19's last year and did a customization to make the colors fit my style better.

I’ve been wearing Nikes forever which I thought was the most comfortable shoe. I have an Achilles probably even in my Nikes it killed me until my friend talked me into The Ultra Boost Adidas omg 😆 the pain is gone so I bought the 19’s the knit is more sturdier which has a lack of the same comfort not until reviewing you to see if the 20s will be my next forever shoe. Love this shoe but one thing I hate is the plastic wire sown in the toe area that adds support for the shape but they yellow so fast making them stand out. It’s almost clear/white so not only dirt yellows them but uv rays too

The 19's seemed to be more geared toward being a runners shoe. Sure you can wear it casually no problem, but the 20's seem more of a casual wear type of shoe than the 19's do just because of the extra padding around the heel and because for me it seemed like the 19's hug your foot more. I love it as a runner, but the 20's do seem the slightest bit less snug on foot

C'mon man! In your other video(where you compared this shoe which is size 10 to the other model the black with the white boost which is size 9.5) you said the size 10 is better for you co'z the 9.5 is too tight so order half a size up. So following your advice I ordered two days ago size 10 and now you're saying that its true to size and you are now wearing the 9.5. Its confusing man! So now I have to prepare my self for a return process of the shoes. Well I'll decide when I fit the shoes when I get them.

I always didn't like how the 19 looked and how expensive it was till I saw a pair with an all black upper on sale for black Friday and decided to pick them up for like 90 bucks. I recently got my pair of 20s off GOAT for 115. I gotta say i like the 20s more than the 19s, all the little improvements Adidas did make it a better shoe to me but the 19s are still a solid shoe. All in all i would say the 20 is the best of the 3 ultraboosts currently on the market, with the 4.0 being a bit behind it but all the colorways that Adidas offers of the 4.0 aren't great night now, and the 19 being the least great of the 3.

IMHO the 19 and the 20 are missing the support in the heel cup and along the outside of the foot like the original has. I almost sprained my ankle and almost rolled and broke it after only a month and I have a very straight stride but my right foot kept rolling to the side and it sucked. I returned them and grabbed the 4D run 1.0 LTD ED. and the Alphaedge 4D. The alphaedge 4D is so much better, in my opinion, more support, neoprene boot style and a ton of support. Plus it uses the kinetic energy to provide a nice bounce in both directions when stepping and lifting. Also with Continental rubber and no holes exposing foam or anything solid rubber outsole and the 4D midsole is awesome IMO. The 4D run 1.0 is ideal for a nice runner because the aforementioned kinetic energy storage and rebound. For me the UB 19 and UB 20 are a possible 3 out of 5 maybe 2.5 out of 5 and I have exclusively bought ultraboosts and NMDs since quite a few years ago, lol aside from dress shoes or boots, obviously. The Alphaedge has been nothing but a 5 out of 5 but also it is a bit heavier as its a trainer with the 4D printed mid sole rather than a standard runner and its not like wearing cement shoes😜 4D Alphaedge is around $300US I feel they are well worth it. Id be willing to trade my limited run 1.0s for some yeezys? Lol, but Seriously. Anyways keep up the good work!

I bought the CNY UB20 with the lotus and koi print. Pictures do not do it justice. The colors of the stitching really pop in person. But I returned my pair. I always get size 13 in every UB and UB19, but these felt way too long and wide. I did a side by side comparison and while the sole and midsole matched. The toe started sooner and heel ended further back. I haven't tried on other UB20, but this felt like a defect. like they were trying to place a size 14 upper to a 13 midsole. Overall, I like the design upgrade over the UB19, but also feel they haven't gone far enough.

I have a problem with my UB20, the "tongue" with the Adidas logo is always lapping over, and it looks super stupid. Am I the only one??

I prefer the 19s over the 20s for comfort and all-day wearability. The 20s are also a pain in the ass to put on, 19s can be slipped on easy.

I don’t buy shoes that often.. and this makes these ‘expensive’ for me, and I agree it’s expensive (I’m comparing Nmd vs these), but realizing I bought a Jordan about 3yrs ago and while it looked good it was a pain to use literally. I walked with them when I was in ny and it was torture. This makes me think these are worth it compared to what I bought (gave the Jordan to my younger brother, hope it works better for him)

Are these true to size? I normally wear a 9.5 in adidas. I had to wear a 10 in the All terrain Ultraboosts because the toes were different material.

The only 20s I would get right now if I had the money is the Chinese New Year in black. They knocked it out of the park on that colourway. Otherwise I'm cool with my 2 pairs of 19s, the black/white and Millennium Falcons.

I really don't like the colors of the 19's. Plus, using that employees discount, I get them for about $90
