Super tight! The horns are spot on and that bassist is spectacular. Terrific all around!

I love your reaction Jeff. Eva is a wonderful singer, and you're right: she tends to feel better in small groups than in big bands. All students at the Sant Andreu school begin to perform with combos that include professional musicians from the fourth year, in addition to participating in the big band. In this case, Rita Payés appears when she was still only fourteen. As for Ignassi Terrassa, in my opinion he is one of the most solid traditional jazz pianists in Spain. Thanks for your analysis.

Ignasi Teraza is pianistic genius. He risks and creates in all sorts of original ways. Like all the greatest genii he sometimes fails, but those failiures are always interesting and more worth a listen than others successes. Magali Datzira, the bass player (also a sensational singer, try Nature Boy) has her fingers dance even faster than this when the team reassembled to repeat the number two years later in 2016 in front of a live audience but this time with visiting saxophonist Luigi Grasso replacing the piano solo.

Tight, tight, tight!! Pianist and bassist are scary talented. Probably every single one of them is, but those two were impossible to miss. By the way, new tune out by L&F today... :)

this is my 2nd time posting this, KZbin does not like my links (now i know why), so i will leave them out and anyone interested need only search within KZbin for these great videos. that said, whenever i see woman playing jazz i think of this great feel good wacky Japanese movie about a group of high school girls who start a swing band/orchestra, Swing Girls (2004). in 2005, due to demand in Japan, they got back together and did a one-off concert, also available on KZbin is a series of short videos from that concert: Swing Girls First & Last Concert. Wiki has a good synopsis/plot of the movie that can help explain what it is all about. while living and working in SE Asia for 30 years i came to really enjoy how Asians, especially the Japanese, interpret Western music and help to keep certain genres alive. ☮❤🙏

Nice reaction :) I saw you doing a few The Warning reactions but you haven't done any in awhile. May I suggest you check out the song 'Evolve'. There are a couple of live versions of it, especially at the MTV VMA's but I think you'd like to check out the official MV first so you can see some of the killer fills Pau does on the drums. And yes, that is her scream! No more spoilers. You've been warned! Check it out!!!

Check out the latest from Leonid and Friends. This one especially features Ksenia. It’s the Burt Bacharach / Hal David song, “I Say A Little Prayer.” kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYPUmKJ-a76nacUsi=_mfOFVk_d2bCxdYR
