Aftermarket blower motor on my 2012 Mustang. You get what you pay for !!!

I just replaced the blower motor on my 2012 Mustang. I cheaped out and got an aftermarket one. I think I got what I paid for !!!

Well, there should be a cover with a cheap foam piece stuck ti it. Mostly to keep people feet out of the wiring. Maybe the clicking noise was because it was made in Quebec.. hahahai. I bought one for an old Saturn wagon with the same issue, with the same result.

Yup. Not too impressed with this 🙄. I believe the missing cover would quiet things down

I agree you get what you pay for but in time that noise may go away whatever is rubbing May wear away .......so if anybody complaines about it say my blower motor is breaking in lollll.........Good Job.

Nooice! 😎 STOC just replaced the blower motor in my 98 RAV4. It didn't survive the dead mouse removal and cleanse. Amazing how similar the blower cages look. Definitely Sounds like something is rubbing is that the motor brushes/contacts?

Yes, might wear it's self in ?? Not too happy with this blower. No rodents though. My son's Chevy Cruze had a massive nest and chewed wires 😳

I say there is a panel go's there, probably make it quieter? I bought a new car (Holden) it always made this annoying rattle took me a few years to find out what it was, when it was built some smarty put 4 - 4 pin relays under where the wiper cover! Grr!!

I agree and the concensus is that there is a cover missing. It would definitely make it quieter. Not overly impressed with the aftermarket part.

Damn it I really need to slow down and read the titles better I got super excited I seen blower and mustang I was like f*** yeah he's supercharging then 2 seconds into the video I realized it was a whole different blower of the aftermarket persuasion that we were talking about 😢

Yes, totally not exciting. Supercharging the V6 is a good idea though !!! Can this be done ?
