Changing out the cabin filter and Hvac blower in a 2012 mustang!!

Great video. I have a 2012 Mustang. I need to do this. I lost my footage but when I pulled my cabin air filter it was completely plugged with debris and leaves. Just subbed

How did you clean it out? Did you just vacuum the leaves out?

@@indiviiduall You can scoop most out by hand. Vaccine would also be good 👍

There are rubber scuppers below the cabin filter that allows water to drain out. They get clogged up with leaves and debris. Need to check them, they clog up and when it rains water builds up and can flow inthru the cabin filter to the blower.

a couple of months ago i had the heater on and i heard what sounded like a water fountain, come to find out i had water inside the box and i was confused because it was clear water not anti freeze i see we have the same problem i drained and blew out the fan still not knowing the car is equipped with a cabin filter until after i placed an order with rock auto for oil and air filters and the note that says when you replace the air replace the cabin,thanks.
