Thanks for forwarding the link, George - I really enjoyed seeing what you're doing. Although no "powered boxcars" on my Sn3 D&RGW layout, the diesel sounds are totally realistic as we frequently walk our dog adjacent to the CN (former BCR) trackage near the North Vancouver BC yards so am very familiar with what these should sound like - and you've nailed it! :)

Thanks for watching. (I really should check notifications more often..). Thanks for the kind words. This is a fun layout to operate, keeps 1-2 people busy. I love the steam, and DRGW I gained an appreciation for since I’ve been here.. but I’m too vested in this now to switch!

Outstanding! This is my type of railroading. Now where can I find background sounds like sirens, car horns, overhead aircraft, industrial noise? I'm very impressed. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great ops session Geroge! Camera angles are superb and what makes it more realistic than just the sounds and motion! - Jason

Thanks my friend. Took too long to get edited, but ready for another after hockey season is over. 👍🏻

George, when moving across the 20th street, being a non-protected grade crossing, your engineer needs to stop prior to the crossing, and the conductor need to protect the crossing so the engine can cross. You can’t just do the long-long-short-long horn blast Sorry I had to write you up for the violation. AAR will be coming to visit you. 🤣

20th street has the lighted crossing. The other 2 have crossbuck signs. So, I’m good! 😉👍🏻

George, I forgot to ask about the size of your pike? How many customers? What size of track and what brand? The last question, what's your sorce of power (power pack / throttle)?

20’ x 2’. Adding the diesel fuel, sand for the engine facility, and grain elevator, 7 industries/customers. Track, Micro Engineering Flex, Peck turnouts. NCE DCC and SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound decoders. Thanks for watching. Feel free to Ask anything. There’s a full tour on the SoundTraxx KZbin channel.

So is the new layout still going to have the same name?
