I'm so glad when others can see what it will be even though it's still very incomplete now!

Incredible weathering job and great video ! I can't wait to see when it's completed ! Also I most certainly do wish that trains and rolling stock had sound effects way back when I was a little boy because it really does add to the realism,and I'm 59 years old now so....!

I was staunchly against sound until about 4 years ago just due to the cost. Once I dipped a toe in the water, though, anything without sound just seemed so flat, so I dove full in and equipped everything. It's the same with the ISE Squealers now too--once I had one, I knew I needed one for every curve! Dangerous...

Just subscribed great video and 1 of my favorite locomotives. The Norfork southern f-units. Really enjoyed your video.

It's a lot of fun to operate, and even with just those two tipples, the job takes a good real-time hour

Both of the Southern Railway locomotives look like F7s I could be wrong about the locomotives
@SouthernStCharlesBranch7 сағат бұрын
It’s actually one F7 (6117) and one late-model F3 (4198) that looks pretty much identical to an early F7. On the Southern you can tell the difference by the headlights. The late F3s had a single large headlight, and the F7s had two smaller headlights in a single housing.

Love those dusty F engines, especially the clear areas representing the path of the windshield wipers on the front windows. Do you have a video of how you masked that off, and dusted them?
@SouthernStCharlesBranch7 сағат бұрын
I don’t have a video, but I basically cut a piece of the sticky part of a sticky note to the quarter-circle shape and put it on the windshield before I weather with an airbrush.

@@SouthernStCharlesBranch Wow, that makes a lot of sense, and is a fantastic weathering idea! If you can enable the YT "Thanks" button, I'd like to drop a view coins into your tip jar.
