Hello, I am from Assam (in the Northeast of India) where the British first discovered tea! They also left the legacy of a colonial life which we are familiar with as my family was in tea. 20 years ago, I had the wonderful opportunity to spend a wonderful vacation traveling in England. It was a dream of mine, and loved every minute of it. I was in England for a conference back in July 2018, and loved every second of it. We rented a car and drove all over to squeeze in as much as we could. England stole my heart and the people are fabulous. I can't wait to go back...even it it requires a conference first. LOL

We also had Tea which was lovely, really well done but I agree they could probably have a larger and perhaps prettier place in which to serve it. Very glad we took Tea though 😊

I had told you earlier that years ago we were on the bus to Highclere and my hubby had to get off because he felt ill so we didn’t get to go. Proms would be amazing there! I went in 2018! It was a fabulous experience. I ordered a picnic tea and sat under one of the big trees with a view of the castle. I think they do that seasonally. It came in a beautiful big box.
