I enjoyed watching your tea at the castle. It seemed more commercial but a good price. That room could be improved by adding tablecloths and window treatments which would cut down on the noise. Adding tea lights to tables with fresh flowers and some sort of something special like a special tea or tea cups or pots which could be purchased having framed pictures instead of the photos they had on wall. I am guessing no refills on sandwiches or desserts? Looks like they want to keep price down and keep it simple and food was good. I would go picnic seems like a great choice in good weather.

Thank you for visiting Wanderland with me! Yes, all of your suggestions are right on point - and unfortunately I believe no refills. They did erect a large tent that had tables set up for people who purchased the picnics - personally I’d love to like I said in the video to be able to eat on the lawn 💕 All and all a nice experience, at a tourist attraction- see you next time down the rabbit hole 💕✨🫖🐰

I totally agree that it would have been much nicer if the surroundings were more in keeping with the castle. The coach house was too modern in my opinion - a bit like a canteen. A jolly good price though. Thanks again. 🙂

Thank you for showing the tea service venue. If I ever visit, I would not do tea. I clearly understand why owners do not want a restaurant in the castle, but at the same time the surroundings are not what any Downton fans would expect. They could charge north of $130 for the tea service and be in a great demand, if they would recreate in any building the library from the castle and served tea there.

I’ve mentioned Cliveden afternoon tea before - that really is in opulent surroundings, a much more Downton experience! Go in the spring or summer to enjoy the gardens x
