Hi Susan, in the USA the flower food usually comes with the flowers you can buy at the store. If you like, you can google "homemade flower food". In Germany we always added a little bit of sugar to roses or some lemon lime soda to the water. I guess the flowers like it sweet. Hope this helps.

Hi Kevin. I do like the keto diet because it eliminates all the aches and pains in my old body. I haven't been following it for a little while and am really noticing my knees 😅, so will get back to it asap, and I'll be making those cookies. Thank you for the recipe. I love how you make an occasion of all your meals, and I do like your Old Country Roses china. My mother had the version with red and yellow roses, but I prefer the blue ones. Here where I live it's Winter and it's 6 degrees C (42.8F), with wind gusts and icy rain. My cat is doing a good impression of being glued to the floor in front of my little electric heater 😅. Kevin, Addressing the weather question first. In Mexico we have dry and rainy season. The dry season usually is from October to May, It's moderate temperatures, spring like. Winter can get chilly It never goes below freezing here in Oaxaca (at higher altitudes it does Toluca and San Cristobal de Las casas , can get frost or even snow) winters are between 40F(5C) and 20C(70F) in spring the nights are cool but the days can go up to 32C(90F) or hotter. We had an early rainy season this year but June got very dry and hot. Fortunately the rains started again so we're back to cooler weather. I've been on a keto diet since the 90s so I was happy to see this recipe. And speaking of flowers, I also grow my own roses and don't use any pesticides so I always harvest the petals and soak them in dark rum (or brandy or a mix) until the petals go transparent (a couple of weeks) that's my homemade rose water which I use in south asian- near eastern cooking and rose flavored desserts (big in the pre vanilla centuries). Cakes cookies ice cream, sherberts, smoothies. I make a rose water flavored cake, with rose water in the whipped cream on top and fresh petals scattered on the top...it's a delight. Freezing in Melbourne Australia Kevin. Not cold enough for snow though. 10C. Our summers can have 3 days in a row over 40C. Almost always very hot. Hottest day l remember was 46.4C in 2009. Way too hot even for us. However, loved yr relaxing video. Not sure l can find all those no sugar ingredients but l still love watching you organise afternoon tea.

Another amazing post! They don't have any flour- that's interesting and they still turned out. The keto-type chocolate has come a long way in just a couple of years. Funny you said before baking that you fully expected to dislike the cookies but they are surprisingly yummy! Love the coconut in them too. I need to give these a try.
